So I finally went and did it. I got my second nipple (left side) pierced. I had my right nipple pierced about 6 months ago and reveled in having just one done, making me a little more unique. Well after careful consideration of my options, I finally decided to join the ranks of those with both nipples pierced. I went to Sach's Studio this last Tuesday for an interesting event taking place throughout the month of March.

The catch? You have to be willing to sit in their display window to get it done. So guys and girls alike have taken numbers and gone in the display window, baring their breast and nipple, and getting pierced before a crowd of 30 or more.
I went down there for the fun of it, thinking "why not, it's free?". I wanted to get my second one done, but had been hesitating until I found out about the promo. Since I got the first one done at Sachs, I realized it wouldn't be that big a bother to get it done there. I say again, "hell, it's free"..
I get to Sachs' that afternoon at about 4:30pm and take a number. Number 130 and they're currently serving Number 79? I go home and watch some tv and return at about 6:45pm. Finally, at about 7:30pm they're ready for me and call #130. I'm kind of nervous, but I go to the display window and wait for Fingers. He did the first nipple piercing. There are about 40 people out front and 20 more inside the store by the time I get there. I sit down in the window and lift my shirt for the whole street to see my first piercing. Fingers asked if I wanted a ring size to match the first one and I said yes, if he could do that. He says yes and we get started.
Before we get into the experience itself, let me say that Sachs is a VERY clean studio and there is no trace of anything unclean anywhere on the premises unless you count the 50 odd people lounging about waiting for their turn. Even the floors are really clean. Billy always brings out a new set of instruments for each client, which is cool to know/ see. Sachs' promotion has gotten a lot of attention from the press and the State of New Mexico. The news reported that the issue was even brought before the city council in regards to how unlawful it was and whether girls could get arrested for indecent exposure in a store window. I didn't think so, after all, guys were getting it done and I don't see the difference in doing it for girls, as well.
Billy is very cool. He had already gone through 129 odd piercings that day alone and he was still courteous and in a good mood in front of the customers, whom I might remind you weren't paying anything for the piercings. He was getting some good tips it seemed, though. Well, on to the experience itself.
I thought I was going to be nervous. Let's get that established first. I pulled up the other side of my black harley shirt and got the nipple cleaned off. Next thing I know it's getting clamped. I look outside and notice that people are now staring quite fixedly, which I expected, and not a few of them seem to be seriously getting something out of my naked breasts. I realized that I wasn't as embarassed as I thought I would be. They were all strangers, after all. The clamps are placed and there is a quick pinch like a bee sting, or slightly worse. I look down and the clamps come off and I realize there is a freaking needle stuck through my left nipple. A crazy thing to look at. He slides the jewelry through the hole and there's another mild burst of pain as the jewelry goes in. Then it's over. I pull my shirt down, bow for the crowd, and exit the window.
I went to the bathroom after that and looked at them both in privacy. I am impressed. The piercings are beautiful and though they were done 6 months apart, they look as though they could have been done the same day. Fingers wants me to return on Saturday to take a picture of the set for his portfolio...and not to brag overmuch, but I noted that the first picture I took of my right nipring for BME ended up on the front page for piercing where it splits off into the different types of piercings. I'm flattered, really, but hey, Fingers did a great job with both of them. Thanks to Sachs and Fingers for the best piercing experiences of my life. My twins look beautiful in the mirror together. :)
