Alright, now the piercing of my nipple came about in an odd turn of events. Let me start out by saying that 2 months ago I would not have foreseen myself with a ring through my precious, sensitive nipple. I don't even have my ears pierced!

My friend has an IAM page and everytime I was at her house I would spend hours looking through other peoples pages and things like that. I wrote in about my tattoo experience and got myself a page. This morning I got some news that my page would be deleted because my membership was up. IAM is very addictive so I had to get a new membership. I could have bought a scanner and scanned some pics of my tat but that would cost too much. So I sat myself down and thought: How can I prolong my membership? And it hit me! Get something pierced.
I picked up my friend and explained this whole thing to her. She said I was crazy but I was determined. Now, I know this doesn't sound like your typical reason to get a piercing but I figured if I could sit through hours of tattooing I could handle a little prick of a needle.
So after arguing about which piercing I should get. I knew facial/tongue piercings were out because my momma would kill me. I was thinking about gential but my friend was against it and since we're most likely going to be having sex in the near future I took her advice. She was all about a navel piercing but I was against that. So we both agreed on a nipple piercing.
We go to a near by tattoo and piercing place and I talk to the guy there about nipple piercings. He was really helpful and knew what he was talking about which made me feel a whole lot better. I asked him how much it would cost, if it hurt, what I'd have to do after. He said it was $50, it didn't hurt. He said it might take up to 4 months to heal but it was usually less then that.
After that I got to pick out a nipple ring. I picked a 14 ga black hoop. So we go back to this room and I take off my shirt and laid down on the little table. The guy could tell I was slightly nervous so he told me to relax and that it would hurt way less then my tat and it was only for a second so I relaxed a little. So he gets out his equipment and puts on his gloves and asks which one I'd like pierced. I hadn't thought about it but my friend, who was there holding my hand said the left one was lucky, so left one it was. He put a mark on it where he would be piercing me and let me look at it. It looked good to me. Then he put this clamp on my nipple. Now, I had no idea this involved clamping and in any other situation I might have liked it but it hurt. And then he stuck the needle through. That was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I haven't given birth but I assume the pain is similar to that. I had my eyes squeezed shut and I was holding my breathe and I wanted to scream....how manly. Then I look down and there was a needle sticking through my little black nipple! Finally he put the hoop through which also hurt quite abit. I was practically crying at this point and he goes "Why don't I do the other one while we're here?" I declined the nice offer, he tried to convince me but I was not swayed by his "Your here now" logic.
I was very upset about the pain thing esp since the guy said it didn't hurt. He probably doesn't even have a nipple pierced. But then something amazing happened. I saw my nipple in the mirror and it is sexy! I'm never wearing a shirt again.
After we left I bought some anti bacterial soap to soak my nipple in. I just got this done about 6 hours ago but it still hurts. I can't wear shirts because if the fabric rubs against it it hurts. Overall I'm very happy with my nipple. It hurts and we'll see if everything heals up properly but other then that it looks good and supposedly it feels good when played with. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a little while to find that out because no is allowed to touch it.
I know that my story and reasons for being pierced aren't exactly what I should giving to the young kids as an example but luckily for me everything so far as worked out for the best. In closing I'd like to volunteer a few more responsible things for the young BME fans: Always wear your rubber, Never leave home without a jacket, Take care of your children and be nice to your baby mommas.
