The old feeling was back. You know...the restless kind of feeling in your soul where you want something to happen and will not be satisfied till something DOES happen. That's what I was feeling for weeks before I got my nipples pierced.

I had been wanting to get my tongue pierced next but I was told by my employer that there were to be no visible piercings at work, Including the tongue.
I even had to wear a bandaid over my eyebrow ring until it healed up enough to where I could take it in and out for work. I tried to be as obnoxious as possible with the bandaid colors too. My favorite was neon orange. Boy it pissed my boss off...hee hee
Anyways....back to the nipples. Like I said I had to get something that was not going to show at work. My choice could've been getting my cartilage pierced ( we can have up to 3 earrings in each ear....go figure), my navel, or even my ahem...lower parts. But I decided why not go all out and get both nipples pierced. To me it was the ultimate sign of rebellion. Something very exciting for me to get, but they would not know. I would show them who was the smarter one!
So I called my piercer the next day to scope out the prices on the jewelry and the cost of piercing. Total it would cost me $105.00. Although that seems like alot of money to me now, I was willing to shell it out in the name of body modification!!
The only time I had to go down there to get it done was on a Sunday afternoon. So I hopped in my car and drove on down there. They weren't very busy so I got to just walk in and start with the paperwork. Jason...(my most favorite piercer in the world!)....walked up and asked what kind of jewelry I wanted. I didn't have a clue because up until my eyebrow piercing I had been limited to having my ears pierced with a gun and normal piercing studs.....ewwww!! Bad gun....bad gun!
So he said that he liked to pierce nipples at a 12g...less chance of migration he said. That was cool with me. The less chance I have of these puppies ripping out the better. I was leaning toward curved barbells and he mentioned that the captive bead rings worked very well also. So we picked out some very nice 12g captive bead rings in SSS. Not sure what diameter...but good sized.
Next we went into the room. He got everything prepped. The needles, the jewelry, the clamps. Then Jason told me to take off my shirt and bra and stand in front of him. He sat down on a stool as I hung my shirt up. He said to relax and he was going to mark the nipples for the placement of the rings.
Ok...this part took a really, really long time!! I was standing there all naked for what seemed like hours...lol I'm sure it was only 10 minutes, but hey...it's not like I just stand in front of strange men all day long with my cold ass nips hanging out!! I was ready to get to the piercing part! After a few adjustments on the marks he said he was ready to go. He asked if I wanted both nipples done at the same time or one at a time. He said nipples were kinda painful and it would be easier to do them both at once.
I was there for the "fun" and "exciting" piercing experience...I didn't think I needed to go through too much pain, so i said I wanted to get them done at the same time. He said cool and then called out to Nicole to come and assist. She was the one who had pierced my eyebrow, so I immediately felt at ease with her.
They had me lay back on the table with my hands at my sides. Then they each got on either side of me. Jason on my right...and Nicole on my left. They got the clamps ready and put them on my nipples to get ready to pierce. And "good lord" this was the painful part of the piercing!! It hurt pretty bad when they squeezed my poor nipples with those clamps...ouch!!
Once they had the clamps on they got the needles positioned and had me inhale and exhale, and then they pierced me at the same time. Whew! The hard part was over. It was pretty painful but only for about 5 seconds. It's like an intense pain that hurts extremely bad, followed by a rush of endorphins that ease the nerves and pain. The pain was gone by the time I sat up. It was just a warm feeling in my nipples. NICE!
I was bleeding alot so they had to take awhile to get it to stop. I sat there for a couple minutes while they explained how to clean them and what not to do while they were healing. They were throbbing a little at this point but they still felt good. The bleeding finally slowed enough to get up and look in the mirror. And there I was....the proud owner of 2 brand new 12g nipple rings. Very sexy!
I got my shirt back on and thanked Jason and Nicole for such a wonderful time. I told them that I was actually thinking about what I was going to get pierced next already. I love getting pierced just for the pure pleasure of doing it. It makes me feel good...and that's all that matters.
I have had my nipples pierced now for about 2 yrs. I have had to take my left one out recently because I kept knocking into things with it...like doors and walls. For some reason it was always getting bumped around and it was starting to tear on the left side of the nipple. It tore about half way through the nipple before decided to take it out and let it heal. I was extremely sad at losing the piercing....but hey, I can always get it redone....right?!?!?
