Here is tale of my nipple piercing. I have my ears pierced of course and my tongue was done about two years ago but I didn't think I would go any further until one night.

Well he got the idea of purchasing me some of those clip on nipple rings. I took one look at those silver hoops dangling from my nipples and knew that I had to have them,for real.
So the very next evening I found myself at 23rd ST Body Piercing announcing to the girl behind the counter that I wanted my nipples pierced. I couldn't believe that those words just came out of my mouth. I picked out my jewelry, simple silver cbrs, and paid the 75
dollars. I was impressed that she took the time to very thoroughly go over the aftercare step by step with me and warn me about any complications that may arise and what kind of healing time I could expect. Then she took me to the "room with the needles".
My stomach was swarming with butterflies as she cleaned my nipples and marked them with a purple felt tip marker . I checked the placement in the mirror and gave her the thumbs up. Now, I didn't watch the piercing or look at the needles because I figured the sight of the needle would only add to my anxiety.She first placed the clamps tightly on my nipple which was a bit uncomfortable but when she put the needle through the first one I was amazed. There was no pain, only sensation and heat, and the rush oh my gosh, I've never felt anything like it . It felt literally as though a bucket of warm liquid had been poured over my brain and I started breathing heavy. My fiance' said I looked like I was getting off and that it was one of the most erotic experiences of his life. It was one of mine too.
Well the second one was another story, it hurt, it hurt bad causing me to gasp and jerk and my hands instinctivly grabbed for my nipple but once the needle was through it was all over and I had my very own set of nipple rings.I stood up to admire them in the mirror still feeling a little light headed and I fell in love with them immediately.
For the rest of the evening I was absolutely giddy. I had never felt so aware of my nipples and a stiff breeze was enough to make them stand at attention and suprisingly they weren't sore and they did not bleed at all after the initial stick of the needle.
The next day I felt a little tenderness around the piercings and there was some slight bruising around one of them I think from me jerking but nothing bad. There were a few crusties on them but once I soaked them in the sea salt solution recommend by my piercer they turned easily during the cleaning. I would recomend them to anyone thinking aboout it. I have had no problems with healing. I soaked them 2 times a day in a sea salt solution and washed them with Provon everyday in the shower turning them 5 times with the soap and then turning them in the running water to rinse out all the soap for the first 3 months. I now just wash them as I do the rest of my body in the shower and they are in perfect shape and healing beautifully.
Nipple rings are sexy, fun , and definately worth the second of pain.
My fiance' loves them and he can't stop looking at them and neither can I. Hell, even when I'm not looking at them just knowing that they are there gives a boost to my sexuallity and makes me giggle. I love having a little secret that the rest of the world knows nothing aboout. The increased sensitivity I feel with the piercings is also a wonderful little bonus that I was not expecting.
One word of caution though, do not turn the piercings until all of the crusties have been removed. This is because, as I found out first hand, the dried secretions will damage the inside of the fresh piercing and lead to some minor pain and swelling as well as adding to your healing time.
My next piercing projects that I have planned are a helix and an inner conch in each ear and the crowned jewel of my collection is going to be a horizontal clitoral hood which I picked out after seeing it and reading the experiences on this wonderful sight.
If you are considering getting something pierced BME is an exellent source for information and ideas. The experiences alone are worth their weight in gold for would be piercers.
