I got my nipples pierced about 3 weeks ago, and I love them!! I just love shocking everyone with them, because most people think that I am quite conservative, and when I mention my nipples being pierced they ask me how I could do that, why I would do that, and I say that it matches my other piercing, my frenum, and then their jaws usually drop!

Studio LaRox Location Akron, OH Well, onto the experience, I decided to pierce my nipples because I work as a server, so I can't have anything visible. Since it had been about 6 months since my frenum, I needed more holes. I settled on getting my nipples done because I have a friend who has his done, and he really liked them. I was chatting with someone from work, and we ended up discussing piercings, and decided to get some piercings together, so we went about a week later to LaRox in Akron. I decided to go there because I had read good things about them on BME and someone else from work had been there before, and it is pretty close to my house, so I got directions and headed there Saturday morning.
We got there about 5 minutes before they opened, so we waited in the car and I smoked two quick cigarettes, preparing myself for the pain. They opened the doors, and we walked up to the counter. The guy behind the counter asked if he could help us, and I told him that I wanted my nipples pierced, and he was kinda surprised that I wanted both done at once, but he had me fill out all the regular forms, pick out jewelry and wait a little bit. I choose these blueish/purplish 14 gauge rings, with fiber optic balls. While we were waiting, I walked around the store, and was impressed at how clean it was. They have a lot of pictures showing their tattoos and piercings, and it all looked really good.
About 5 minutes later they called me back into the rooms, and unfortunately I don't remember the guy's name, he was very good. The room was also very clean, and had the needle disposal box, and all that. He had me sit down in a dentist kinda chair, except that the back was completely vertical, take off my shirt, and made the marks. He asked me why I was getting my nipples pierced, and we talked for a couple of minutes about miscellaneous stuff. He put the clamps on, and had me take 2 deep breaths, and put the needle in my right nipple first. It hurt a bit, more then my frenum, and immediately followed though with the ring. I figured that this wasn't too bad, not nearly as much pain as I had hurt. He asked if I was all right, and I said sure, I am doing great. He had me do the breathing again, and put the needle through my left nipple. It hurt like hell!! It sent waves of pain down my entire left side. When he followed with the jewelry, it felt like we was ripping tape off of my chest. He asked again if I was all right, I managed to get out an OK. I stood up, thanked and tipped him, and walked back to the waiting room.
My friend was still waiting to get her nose pierced, so I went outside for a cigarette, and discovered the first problem. My leather jacket rides directly on top of my nipples, which hurt like hell when I moved. So I just held the jacket out, and finished my cigarette. My entire chest felt like it was on fire. I went back into the studio, and waited for her to finish up. Finally she did, so we got in my car and drove off to get some food, and every bump I hit hurt my nipples, and Akron has lots of potholes. It also hurt when I had to twist to look for openings in traffic, and the seat belt would catch the side of my nipples. I learned to use the mirrors a lot more, and be very careful of the seat belt, making sure that it was placed perfectly.
Other then that it wasn't too bad, now they just hurt if I catch them on something. I followed the aftercare, sea salt soaks, and Provon twice a day, and they healed pretty well so far. Overall it has really been worth it, and they are a great conversation starter. One side note though, hugging is painful for the first couple of days, as I discovered when I went to my grandmother's house a day after I got pierced. As I was leaving she gave me a hug, and it felt like someone was putting daggers into my chest. Now I have no problem with hugs.
