I had never considered having a nipple pierced, although I found the sight and thought both very attractive and very erotic in an aestetic sort of way. But to do it? Nope....the thought of willingly having a needle shoved through perhaps the tenderest part of my body gave me stomach cramps.

If you plan on having it done, I would definately recommend a professional, unless you have a competant friend like I do who can do anything and do it well and you're not afraid to entrust something so delicate to them.....he told me he soaked the needle in alcohol for two days beforehand and read up on how to do it correctly so that he wouldn't hurt me, which I was glad to hear. It was sore for a while, but not unbearable.....so long as you keep it very clean and don't let anyone get too terribly carried away playing with it, you shouldn't have too much ongoing pain or discomfort.

I don't think I'll get the right one done, I think there's something slightly elegant in having just one ring, and I'm afraid the second experience wouldn't be as good as the first.....the not knowing what was about to happen was what made it so fun and erotic. I'd rate my experience pretty highly among my list of things I'm glad I did (or had done to me). I don't look like the type who would have a nipple pierced, so it's always a sexy surprise when I reveal that hidden part of myself.
