My nipples are so decretive!

Well, First of all, let me just say.......Half of these stories on BME exaggerate the truth to the point of pathological lying! I swear to everyone that bothers to read my pitiful story that i will tell the complete truth! It always pisses me off when people think i'm too ignorant to handle the truth.....because i'm not, i swear! It doesn't make you appear to be tough if you say a spike in your nipples or genitals doesn't hurt.....obviously it's going to hurt. Things weren't meant to be shoved in your most intimate of areas!!! Or any body part for that matter. I just tend to believe that it's beautiful and exotic to have rings and studs in your body.....it gives people character, DAMMIT! That's why I got my piercings. I find it beautiful.

First i got studs going up my ear. This concept bored me. Wow, I HAVE EARRINGS...WHOPPIE! It's been done way too many times.....i guess i was 13 at the time, but still. I was that annoying little girl who always acted 30, the one that everyone either hated or loved....whatever, i'm getting off topic. When I was 14.....I really wanted to get something pierced. After months of being a PMSing psycho.....i got my mother to let me pierce my belly button. She's a funky lady....she didn't put up that much of a fight. My banker dad was the problem, but as a male he was pursuaded withen like two minutes. This was a somewhat painful piercing......it was the worst to heal. It hurt like a bitch for a month, and got weird infections. Eh, It's all good now. Then I got my nostril done about a year later. It bled a little and made me tear, but the pain was tolerable. I thought it was cool to have a needle sticking out of my nose. I originaly got a ring....but sense I'm a moron i had to get a silver stud because i kept getting the ring caught on things.

My mom thought i was going piercing crazy at that point......not really, but living in a small suburban town, i guess it is a bit excessive. So i convinced her to let me get my nipples pierced for my 16th birthday, nothing says happy birthday more than nipple piercings! So, I knew i was going to go to Barbara because she is the coolest and most talented piercer on long island. Whenever i walk into artful ink it always smells of a lovely essential oil.....it always calms me down a bit. I was questioning the girl at the counter about the pain involved in nipple piercings.....i was paranoid and rambling like a psycho. I walked over to her pleather seat { My body was producing more sweat then i knew possible and my legs got stuck to the seat, mmm, attractive}. She Took out this huge 10 gauge ring, which scared the crap out of me. Thank god she only had one.......so she found me two 14 gauge. I'm a small girl.....10 gauge would be bigger than my entire boob.

She put a baracade from the front of the store so i didn't flash everyone. I took off my shirt and sat there topless, like a cheap whore....anyway, She then clamped my right nipple. She told me to take a really deep breath on the count of three. When I heard the word three come out of her mouth I took the most obnoxious, loud breath in the history of man. The feeling that filled my entire body was one of such extreme pain that you actually get cold. The coldness is such a rare feeling that it sort of took away from my nipple. It was tolerable. Then came the worst part....The second nipple. I always heard that the second one hurt a great deal more. She clamped my left nipple and put the needle through....I got the same cold feeling but with more added pain. After the ring was in....I sat there for a little while because I was so light headed. I had two streams of blood going down my abdomen like the guy in pink floyds " the wall" when he shaved off his body hair. It stopped bleeding about an hour later. I got up and she hugged me and said i was very brave and It was weird how i just sat there like nothing was happening......I'm very good at acting tough. The car ride home was worse than the actual piercing, it felt like someone was holding a lighter under my nipples. I got home and slept because i didn't want to deal with the throbbing nipples.

The next day they felt a little sore and i had bloody crusties on them for about a month after. Barbara told me to clean them { along with all of my other piercings} with sea salt and water, I find that it works better than Bactine for me. Always clean off the crusties or your nipples will hurt like a bitch. To make the sea salt water, I always Boil tap water and add the sea salt { which I buy at a health food store}. WAIT UNTIL THE WATER COOLS.....and apply with a q-tip.

3 months later My left nipple never healed, it seemed as if the piercing was done a little too deep. So, unfortunatly, i had to take it out. I've been procrastinating getting it redone, because one of my frieds got his redone and he actually cried because of the horrible pain.......maybe I'll pass.

Piercings are so addicting.....I would highly recommend getting your nipples pierced. I find that it makes me feel more beautiful. I didn't get them done for any sexual purpose { haha, yeah right}......I just find that it honestly makes me feel better about myself. A couple of months later I got my Septum pierced, which ended up being my favorite piercing. It was not only painless, but you can hide it. Sooner or later I'm going to get my traigus done, I've been procrastinating this because i hate having to sleep on my back. I'm messed up, what can I say.
