I did it |

I never once thought of getting my nipples pierced. It was fine for other people, if that was their prerogative. It just was not mine. One night, on the phone I asked my friend what he wanted for his birthday. He gave me a list of 3 different things. Getting my nipples pierced or a tattoo was 2 of the original 3 items. I asked him to be more creative and expand his list to 5. I was buying myself more time. I knew that the other 2 items would be worse then the original 3, but it was worth a shot. He called me back the next day with his other 2 wishes. At of all 5 wishes the nipple piercing seemed to be the least abrasive one. So the search on the Internet began. Upon searching the web I came across Brian Skellie and his studio the Piercing Experience and of course BME.I sat at my computer for several hours reading other peoples experience and viewed several pictures posted on the web. The combination of reading the stories and viewing the pictures made my decision easier. The idea of having my nipples pierced became erotic and very intriguing. It was sometime that I wanted to have done. Later that night I told my friend that I would grant him that birthday wish. I continued searching on the Internet further, investing and reading further and further. Procedure, aftercare, rejection, you name it. One web site would say one thing and the next web site could say the complete opposite. There were vast differences between one experience to the next. One person saying that it was the most painful experience to the next person saying that it was nothing at all. I was being my worse enemy. I had to stop searching on the Internet. I knew that I was going to get my nipples pierced and it did not matter what other people on the Internet was saying as to their personal pain.
My friend when to 3 different piercing studios and relayed the information he received to me. I drove him crazy asking him question after question. We finally got together and went to the places together. We decided on the Piercing Experience. I have to admit when we finally decided on that studio I was nervous about getting my nipples pierced. The people at the studio really took their time answering any questions asked by me or any other person waiting. I would say that the staff there really were out to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Once in the room to be marked and fitted, I asked the lady who was going to pierce me if it was possible to get both nipples pierced at the same time. She had no problem with it. When I returned to the waiting room I asked the other piercer if he had any problems with it, thankfully he did not.
Most of the pictures posted on the web showed people with nipple rings. I wanted to get them also. The Piercing Experience would not start people with nipple rings. Their reasoning were well justified. Just the fact of the quicker healing time sold me on the bar instead of the rings. The Piercing Experiences said that the typical healing time would only be 30 days with the bars. And that most of the time bars would be more practically to wear then the rings. The Piercing Experience studio is able to apply different color to the balls and bar. They could even do a rainbow, if that's your style. The Piercing Experience will re-color your bar and balls whenever you would like them to be. They even had rings that they colored.
Into the autoclave the jewelry went. Several minutes last it was time to go back into the private room. The 2 pierces entered and one started to clean my breast area with an antimicrobial lotion. The gauze was draped over, leaving my nipple exposed. The time was here. Both piercers talk to me during the procedure, telling me to concentrate on my breathing. During the actual piercing there was a burning sensation that originated from my breast area and traveled downward but it was a very short-term sensation. They both said congratulations and one left. It was my friends turn next. He made out very well. Brave then I, he only had one piercer. After the piercing process there was only a slight tight feeling in the nipple area. 30 minutes after the piercing, I felt nothing. It has been 1 week to date and all is well. The aftercare that the studio recommends is so easy, just cover and let it be. I would recommend paying a few extra dollars and buying the tegaderm. It is a clear dressing so you are still able to see your new jewelry. I would recommend the Piercing Experience to anyone looking to get pierced.
