so your interested in in getting your nipples pierced huh? well i have a few experiences i can share with you. i have had my nipples pierced 6(i think?) times. the last time i had them both done was in australia, i can not actually think of the piercers name but i would highly recomend the '4 roses body piercing studio' as the ladies there are quite friendly and are willing to answer any questions you may have.

Studio 4 roses Location Australia i had woke up one morning and had the urge to get a few extra holes in my body(im sure you all know this urge too well!), so i made sure i had taken my old jewelry with me, as to cut down on cost and extra wasted jewelry laying around. my girlfriend and i headed of into town were the studio is located, on arival i spoke to the counter ladey and informed me to come back in about an hour as i hadnt booked an appointment and they were booked solid. so after some lunch and a wonder around i headed back to the studio, this time no waiting! so if you loose your nerve real quick my suggestion is to book in advance and this wont leave you with anytime to chicken out!
once inside the piercing room the door was shut and i started some idle chat with my piecer. she asked me to take my shirt off and sit up in the chair. once in the chair i told her i had my own jewelry wich she took from me and asked if it was mine or had it been given to me, i told her it was mine and she said it should be steralised before use, so she did this all in front off me as to asure me it was allways my jewelry. she then proceeded to get all her equipment ready, this to was all sterile and come from vacuum sealed sterile packets.
once my jewelry was clean she asked how i wanted the barbells placed, now i had had them done horizontaly a few times before and had to take them out due to migration and catching on my work clothing, so to help with the catching i had decided to get them done vertically. this was the first time my piercer had done vertical piercings without a horizontal bar in first. she marked of the hole locations and held a mirror up in front of me to make sure i was 100% happy.
now if you havent had your nipples pierced before let me just tell you that it is the most painfull piercing i have experienced(and yes i have genital work too) but this pain can be quite pleasurable aswell as unbearable and the end result is worth it.
we started with the left side and once the clamp was on she instructed me too take a few deep breathes and we'd go on the third breathe. what made the first nipple so painful was due to migration of the first few piercings, i had a fair bit of cartalidge inside my nipple but was told that this cartalidge would stop this piercing from migrating. the second nipple slid through easily as i didnt have as much cartalidge on my right side.
once the needles are through the pain is pretty much gone with only a slight pulling feal as the needle is removed and the jewelry is inserted.
after we had finished she stuck a few badages to my chest covering my new shiney nipples as not to get any blood on my shirt before i had got home, wich was necessary as i have very thin blood and bleed quite a bit, by the time i had got home one of the 3 inch square bandages had gone from white to to bright blood red. she gave me a few tips on after care and offered their healing kit which should help the healing process, but as i had allready done this a few times before i knew what worked for me. i showered once in the morning making sure i clean all the crusty bits(you know what i mean) from the barbells, then run lathered soap over the piercing making sure to turn the barbell at the same time.
so its been about 6 months since i had them put in and i havent had too much trouble, nowere near as much as i had with the horizontal bars. i have had a little migration but not enough to warant me taking them out again. so hopefully these two will be in for a while! after the first few weeks of the initial piercing all was back to normal no sharp pains if i accidently knocked one and not too much to clean off the barbells.
