The Story of "N"

Well, where would one start? How about with a bit of encouragement from my lovely Virginian friend and her boyfriend's declaration that "all women should have their nipples pierced"?

I have recently submitted a story to BME about my self-pierced septum. I acknowledged in that story that I would be investigating nipple piercing. I must say, after checking out the many breasts on the pages of BME, I decided that mine were not as ugly as I thought. Next time I am told they are quite gorgeous, I am going to give more credence to the onlooker. I guess that having good genes and a healthy body helps. I breast fed two children, one for 18 months, and the other for nearly 3 years. I decided that I would not get my nipples pierced until I had finished having children, just incase the piercing actually did inhibit the milk flow. I am lucky in the respect that my breasts held good shape and form, even though I did feed my children for this long. I will admit freely to having not spied many breasts. My education would be the pneumatic breasts of the women in People and Pix magazines and the newly augmented Hollywood starlets. I found it was a real eye opener to see that even women with sagging "rock in sock" type breast arrangements were happy to show off their piercings, and even seemed quite proud of their bodies. It is all about learning about what a woman is and being comfortable about who we are, I expect, and I am certainly getting some education from the pages of BME.

I made an appointment with Andrew Hogan, at Adrenalin Bodypiercing Pty Ltd, here in Canberra. Having made the majority of my now 31 piercings myself, it was my decision that a professional should pierce my nipples, and Andrew certainly is that. After almost missing the original appointment due to car problems, I managed to fit myself in a day before the original appointment. I was quite chuffed about this, because to be totally honest, I was quite excited about having my virgin nips deflowered.

As per usual, I am early and Andrew isn't even home yet. I spy a hot looking car driving up the road, and an equally interesting looking male driving the car. I recognize it to be Andrew, and he tells me he won't be but a minute. Excellent!

I need to pee, so use the toilet and get onto the business of signing forms, and providing proof of age. I love this because I am 35 years old. It is for legal reasons, not because I look like I am underage. God, wouldn't people be after my "beauty secrets" (like I even have a routine...) if that were the case. I checked out the jewelry in the cabinets. Wow! What a selection! I spoke with Andrew about making me another 18ct gold capture bead for the ring in my hood, because I lost it, and didn't like the look of the hematite ball that I had replaced the 18ct ball with. I have since had an 8ga ring put there by my husband - and fully recommend the upsizing of jewellry in this area.

Andrew discussed the jewelry with me, and as I had already decided, I wanted stainless steel barbells. I really prefer the look of bb's in nipples to rings.

Okay. I am in the piercing room, which is painted white and totally sterile looking. Andrew is getting the "kit" out of the autoclave and explaining the process. I am sitting on the table, checking it all out, wishing it could be happening "now". I disrobe, and Andrew marks my nipples to get the correct placement of the piercings. One nipple "behaves", the other, well, it twists and turns like it's in a limbo dancing contest. It took a while for it to settle and for Andrew to be happy with the placement.

Then, comes to lying down time. The table is a little cold on my back. Brr! I put my top underneath me and we are on our way. I notice that Andrew changes gloves quite often. This is good. He has excellent knowledge of practices and would be the most experienced piercer in Canberra. He also has a calming personality. I suspect he pursues esoteric study. That is okay, as I have been witching it for about 20 years now.

Then we clamp the nipples. No pain. I had read that sometimes the clamps hurt, but I enjoy nipple play and I guess feeding two kids has toughened them up some. Andrew puts the needle through, leaving the sterile plastic "sheath" in the newly pierced hole. I am watching all this ­ and glad that I was able to. He inserts the barbell into the sheath and removes it, leaving the barbell through my nipple. Fasten off the ball at the other end, and we are ready to do the other one.

I flip around on the table; Andrew makes sure the balls are tight enough, using fine grade wet and dry sandpaper, for better grip.

My second nipple is clamped and Andrew is passing the needle through it.

To be honest with you, it didn't hurt. I felt no sharp pain at all. It was more a dull sensation of pressure, sensual. Whether it is because of the reasons I mentioned before, or that Andrew is an excellent piercer is unknown. I like to think it is a bit of both.

I have admired my chest in the mirror, many times since the piercing. I am enjoying the feeling of the newly pierced nipples and the auto sensation that occurs in the "under undies" region of my body as my nipples rub on my shirt.

I am certainly going to enjoy my new editions when they are healed. My desire is to connect all my piercings together with chains - my clit hood ring to my navel ring. My nipple bars to my navel ring. I will also wear a nice chain around my waist. I then, wish to attach my nipple bars to my septum ring, and have two nice chains from my septum to my ears. The connectors for my "suit of chain" are in place. I can't wait to wear it for my husband, who is experiencing his first genital piercing, a PA, not in Canberra, but in Maryland USA. He is also having 12ga bars put in his nipples. Are we in for some fun when we see each other next month!
