I am 43 years old and look like a librarian! I am a professional woman, married and pretty conservative to the outside world. No one would guess by looking at me that I was in to modifications. I even have a rose tatooed on my, can I say, "pussy".

In my 20's I saw a piture of a pierced nipple and was FASCINATED! For all these years I have wanted to have it done, especially since my nipples are a very erotic part of me. I love to play with them all the time!

After about a year of talking to my husband about getting my nipples pierced, he finally knew I was serious, so for Christmas this year I had BOTH my nipples pierced. What a nice gift from my husband and to myself!

I called the Huggy Bear Tatoo studio (his ad says "A Warm and Friendly Place" and made an appointment right away! I saw his ad on TV. He is a huge guy with balding head, long beard and tatoos everywhere! He actually looks a little scary. However, when I called the studio (4 times in 20 minutes) they were very professional and very funny! I knew this was the right place because they had a sense of humor on the phone.

I was nervous and excited! My dream was finally coming true after 20 years! To top it off, I was having about 6 people for dinner!

The place was very clean and professional looking. The artist is also Medically Certifed. I found out he helped write the medical portion of the statutes governing tatoos.

I sat in the chair and we picked out the type of rings I wanted. I really wanted gold, since I am a red-head and don't wear silver. After cleaning the area and sanitizing my nipples we began.

To be honest, I had no idea it would hurt so much. The clamping alone was hard, even though I do put closepins on my nipples during sex play because a little pain is great with the pleasure.

I also didn't realize that this is a manual procedure. I know this sounds silly, I guess I was thinking about my ear piercing, and them using a gun....Needless to say, I did not watch.

I knew if I didn't, I would never have the nerve to go back!

When we were done and I got my healing instructions, Huggy Bear gave me a big hug and said I did great. It really was a "Warm and Friendly Place"!

Even though I had a stong desire to have my nipples pierced and I don't think modifications are wierd or wrong, strangely, I felt out of place in my conservative work place. No one there knows what I did and I wouldn't tell them, it is private. But, my nipples were hard all the time! I couldn't keep them from poking out of anything I wore! Oh, well, I do, afterall, really love my nipples. Fortunately, now a days no one at a work place can comment on hard nipples like they used to years ago! Thank God! I am over that little spell of worrying what others may think!

I did exactly what Huggy Bear said to do after the procedure and everything was going great, the healing was progressing very well. I am a very clean person by habit, but now had to be even more fastidous. I bathed at least twice a day and made sure I never touched my nipples without having washed them with antibiotic soap.

But, dumb me, I couldn't stop playing with them, so the right one got a little infected. I went back to the studio and Huggy Bear gave me triple antibiotic cream and told me to do saltwater soaks 2-5 times a day for two weeks. He said to call him every day with an update, he was really caring. Now they are much better.

Even though this takes a long time to heal, I don't regret it at all and look forward to the time I can change the rings and play with them without causing a problem.

I think they are so pretty and it is fun to have a SECRET!

A word of warning - if you don't really, really have a desire for this, wait until you do! If you have a strong desire, it is definately worth it.

I am now considering having my clit hood done! This time I feel I will have a better understanding of what to expect. I love to look at the pics on BME, my favorite place.
