Well,where should I start? I'm 19 and have been in love with piercings since I got my belly button pierced. First, I would like to say that I already have my navel pierced twice and I was looking for something else exciting to pierce. My friend and I wanted to pierce our tongues at first but decided against that because it was so taboo. We came up with the idea of getting our nipple pierced. We wanted something that not everyone had.So I got online to BME and started reading some stories. I concluded that half said it hurt and the others said it didn't. I have a high tolerance for pain so I figured it wouldn't hurt too badly. We also wanted to know how long it toke to heal. A couple of months is a long time for someone not to get there breasts played with!! That factor was taken under consideration! It is also a reason why I did not get both that night. So any way let me get to the night that we did this ( which was only four nights ago)....
My friend and I were sitting in our apartment talking about the piercing we wanted and we got really excited to do it. So we called some places at the beach and got a price, 20 dollars. It was a holiday special. One of our friends volunteered to drive us. So once we got down to the beach , we went to buy the jewelry. I picked out a silver ring with a purple ball on it. The next thing we had to do was walk to the other store which was right down the next block. Once we got there we did the paper work and waited for our turn to go.There was so many people in there because it was a special. But most were getting there tongues pierced. We were talking to two girls that had gotten there clit pierced three times!! Now that is different but I could never do that. They were also getting their tongues pierced. We were the only ones the had gotten our nipples pierced that night. We were told that we had to go one at a time but she snuck in behind me and Jimmy said it was okay. So he asked me which one I piercing and it was the left nipple. He told me to lie down on the table so that he could clean and mark the spot. Since I had already been pierced two other times, I knew what to look for in a clean room. At first, I was giving Jimmy a hard time. I knew that the needle had to come from indivdual packages and the clamps had to be sterilized. I noticed everything was safe so I let him proceed. After he marked it , I noticed that it was not straight and asked him to do it again. I have heard the stories about having an ugly piercing and I did not want that to happen. The next thing he did was put the clamps on, which was not bad at all. I watched as he was about to put the needle through preparing myself for the pain. But by then it was over. No Pain!! The only uncomfortable part for me was when he was putting the ring in and that did not hurt that much !! And then it was my friend's turn. She had never gotten a piercing before. She went to the extreme for her first one. She laid on the table and held my hand. After getting cleaned off , she started to squeeze my hand even harder. I watched in amusement as Jimmy told her to take a deep breath in through her mouth and out through her nose and it was over. She let out an " holy shit" and then she was done.
Now four days later I am loving this piercing!! I showed my boyfriend and he wanted to play with it right away but he is not allowed to!! This is my friend and I's little secret from everyone. We promised to tell only one or two people. I can not wait to go get the other one done. But that will not be until probably next year!!
Cleaning the piercing is quite simple. I do it in the shower using antibacterial soap . I turn the ring while the soap is still on it and then rinse it off very well. After that I dry it completly with a Q-tip. I use a small amount of neosporin and rotate the ring. I then wipe the access off with another Q-tip. The only discomfort i have now is if I accidentally bump it on something. I expect it to heal very well because I never had any problems with my belly rings.
