The nipple it is!

Well, I had been wantring another piercing for a long time, and was debating whether to go for a tongue, or a nippple. Back then I had both my lobes to 2 gauge, an industrial in my right ear, and a labret. My parents pretty much already thought I was some sort of freak with all these strange piercings (even though my dad has his ears pierced) so I needed something that they wouldnt notice. Thats where the tongue or the nipple came in. If I got the tongue, I would have to stay away for a week or so, do that I could talk normally again and eat. Also, my friend who got his tongue pierced said that it took him awhile to find a place to comfortably put it in his mouth.

Then I thought of the nipple. It's under my shirt, not completely out there, and I wont be acting funny with it. So the nipple it is! One problem, I live in Caracas, Venezuela (South America if you dont know) and finding a piercing place here is pretty hard, although this city is a metropolis. First off I dont speak very good spanish. That makes me look stupid walking around a mall asking where I can "put a hole in my tit" (thats the best I could do!). Anyway, I finally found a friend who new of a place in some mall like an hour and a half away.

And we're off, on our way to Portrayl Piercings. I pretty much followed everything it tells me to do on this site, I didnt drink, smoke, or do anything else "bad", and I got alot of sleep the night before. Well, the entire way to the piercing place i felt like I was going to Sh*t my pants, I was so nervous. Even though I knew it couldnt possibley hurt more than my industrial, or my labrey, I was still nervous as hell! Anyways, we finally get there, and found the place. I talked to two of the guys there, Ricardo, and Aleff; they decide Aleff should do it, because Ricardo has an appointment in a half hour. Their shop was clean (at least as far as I could tell) and they were all really friendly, and anwsered all my questions. So, we went back into the little room, and waited while Aleff prepared everything. After about 10 minutes, (it could have been 1 or 30, I was so nervous) he came back out with the aoutclave bag and told me to take of my shirt, he looked amy nipple, and marked a spot for the piercings, which I thought was sort of deep, but he said it was fine. Then, he clamped the area around the mark, which actually hurt pretty bad. Then it came, a 14 gauge needle. I felt it slice away a piece of my nipple as it slid through, the pain was not at all bad, but the though of what was happening was worse. After he inserted the barbell, he asked me if I wanted to sit or anything, and I said no (for some reason I really wanted out of there) I paid him 50 bucks (EVERYTHING is expensive down here) and tipped him some for the good job.

Well, in the first few hours it was sore, but by the next day it felt like I had had it for years, unless I moved it around. I cleaned it twice a day with saline solution and once a day with glycerine soap. And now its been three months and everything is fine. I only had one mishap, and that was some one almost ripped it out at a concert in the pit. Now I tape it down when I go to concerts.

I'm gonna try and anwser some question for you all because I know I had a whole bunch of questions.

DOES IT HURT?

Yes, but not enough to not do it again, is the best description.

How long does it hurt afterward?

I'd say only for about 3 or 4 hours.

How soon can I start "playing" with it?

WAIT, at least two months in my expierence, otherwise it hurts just enough to be annoying.

One more thing, I reccomend stretching it to a 10 gauge if your gonna do some more serious play, otherwise it's just to thin and it hurts like hell when pulled on to hard. Some pain is good, to much is not, unless you want it ripped out! You may think that stretching you nipple will be about as easy as stretching you ear, just buy bigger jewelry. DO NO DO THAT! I tried that when I stretched it to 12 gauge, and it hurt like a bitch! Buy tapers for it, and it will hurt alot less.
