Needles go THROUGH nipples. |
| ||||||||||||||||
I had my first non-ear piercing experience about 10 months ago, it was my tongue, and I love it. I figured after that, I was done with piercing, damn, I was wrong. For the longest time I thought getting nips pierced was kinda, stupid.. Then one day, 'bout a month ago it hit me, to get em pierced. I had the same feeling when I decided to get my tongue pierced, so I knew I was going to do it..just..when.
4 days ago, I was driving with my friend John and his girlfriend Carrie, they had offered to loan me the money for my piercing 'till this friday when I get paid, I accepted, and we went, armed with a camera, roll of film, and a stuffed bear (or else Carrie wouldn't go...don't ask).
I had long ago decided on getting pierced at Ultimate Body Piercing And Tattoo, I had gotten my new barbell from there, and had gotten my tattoo there, and I was blown away with the knowledge they had.
So, I walked in, was greeted by this scary-ass clerk chick, who has a crush on me (we both have a mutual friend, and that friend warned me about her). I tell her what's going on, and she and I go through the paper work (are you 18? do you have any allergies? Will you blame us if you die?) Then agreed on rings (They were cheaper..I know, I know..bite me), and I was able to get a 10% discount from her..mwuhahaha.
After waiting for the piercer, Hankster, to eat his lunch (Dude, trust me..if your gonna have someone poke you with a needle..make sure they're not bothered by anything, like hunger for instance..make sure they are COMFY). He brought me into the room of death, and started to go through the usual talk of care and feeding of the new holes, I should mention at this point I had monarchs the size of Mothra flying their way through my insides.
I should mention, John was being a little bitch, he wouldn't come watch 'cause he was squeamish, so his girlfriend Carrie was taking all the pictures.
Ol' Hanky cleaned the nips, and started to place the entrance/exit holes. A couple of adjustments later, we were happy as ..well, really happy things, and I laid down on the table. Clamps went on, we went through breathing, and then..it happened.
Having a needle ran through your body is one of those experiences that is hard to explain. Half of me wanted to go beast-fuck the nearest woman, while the other half wanted to cry like a little girl. Yes, the piercing hurt worse than my tongue, but seriously folks..no one should say it was a dreadfully large pain, it was a second of "ow" thats 'bout it.
5 seconds later, I had a ring dangling off my right and very erect nipple.
The 2nd one went just as smoothly. In fact, on this one I had him pause a second so Carrie could get a picture of the needle through the nipple.
I spent a large part of the day showing people my damn piercing, we went to the mall and I was just walking up to any woman who was by herself, and asking if I could show her my piercings...they all said yes, and I showed everyone of them with a big-ass shit eating grin on my face.
That day, they were sore, slightly throbbing, and VERY sensetive. Cleaning them that night (With dial anti-bacterial soap in a pump bottle) was a pain in the....nipple. Sleeping was NOT a problem..I sleep on my back anyways...but the sheets didn't bother me, nothing. No blood in the morning either. In fact, no blood at any point. No crusty stuff either.
The 2nd day, no pain as long as they weren't knocked on anything by accident.
3rd day, still no blood, no crusties..no nothing. Today was the firt day I could clean them with no pain either, not only that, rotating the piercing had no pain as well..just kinda tickled and looked damn cool :)
4th day, no pain whatsoever now...not even if I knock them, but DAMN sensetive, I think I've been walking around with wood since I woke up. :)
All in all...if you're thinking of getting your nipples pierced, NIKE. Just Do It.
It's no big deal..pain is brief, and doesn't extend as long as your careful.. Caring for it is simple. and they look DAMN cool.
Ultimate Body Piercing and Tattoo has the compition in Anchorage beat, they are friggin AWESOME. Knowledgable staff, they're calm, cool, and seem to know exactly what they're doing at all times.
Next month I'm going in to get my septum done. And after that..who knows.
Thanks for reading.
