After a couple of years of wanting to get my nipples pierced I finally got the finances and guts together to do it. My husband was very supportive and looking forward to being able to play with them when they healed. There were not many places in the Minneapolis area at that time to get piercings done and the only thing I really had gathered any information from was "In the Flesh" magazine that I found at a local bookstore. I called many places in the area and Marcie's Sharp Images was one of the only places that offered body piercing in this area so I went there. She told me that she only pierced Nipples at 16g, so I picked out a nice pair of purple niobium rings and entered the private piercing room. She gave me little ice packs to put on my nipples while she got her supplies ready. She also sprayed a topical anesthetic on my nipples. Then she marked my nipples for placement and started the procedure, grasped my nipple in a clamp, dipped the needle in a bacitracin type ointment and pushed it through my first nipple. It really wasn't as bad as I had envisioned it to be. It did hurt a bit, but was very managable. She put the end of the ring into the hollow end of the needle and followed the needle through my nipple with the ring. Then came nipple #2. I had a build up of scar tissue in it from infections when I was breast feeding. It really didn't hurt any worse than the other one, but it took a couple of minutes to get the needle all the way through. I bled a bit for the first evening and that was about it. I was pretty sore for a few weeks after, but it got better and I have had them now for 4 years and still love them. They seemed like they took a long time to heal inside. A year after I got them done I went to Sturgis and found a piercer there who ageed with my desire to stretch the holes up to 14g. I bought a set of barbells from her there and she took me behind a curtain and lubed up the barbells. She then, gently pushed them through my holes and stretched me up to 14g. It didn't really hurt, but my nipples were very sensitive for about a week afterward. I was horny all the time.
My children saw them the day after I got pierced the and all they could say was OOOOOOOOWWWW. They wanted to know why I got that done and I just told them that Daddy and I liked the way they looked and I got them done because I liked it. They wanted to know if it hurt and I told them it did hurt some. People ask me now what I would do if my daughters wanted to pierce a part of their body. I say it's fine with me. My 13 year old daughter would love to get her navel done, but we have, at this time, been unable to find a place that will pierce her, even with my consent. I am in the medical field and have been tempted to just do it myself, but I'm not sure that this would be a good thing.
We are nudists and our Nudist camp had a rule that "No body jewelry" could be worn on the"Nipples or Genitals". So every time we went there I had to take them out and either put in a plastic retainer or nothing. Many times my holes would start to close up and I would have to fight to get my rings back in. I would be sore and bleeding by the time I got them back in. This Summer we bought a new camper and have spent most of the summer at the campground. I have had to take my rings out many times, but I love being at the campground and I love my piercings so I do what I have to do to be there. BUT, just last week they had a big meeting of the members and after lots of discussion they took a vote and decided overwhelmingly to allow body piercings now. There is NO rule pertaining to body jewelry there now and I am free to wear my rings. I couple of other women there have come out with the fact that they had been hiding their own genital piercings and they are as happy as I am. I have been wanting to get a hood piercing for a while now and now I can hardly wait to do it....My birthday is just around the corner...I think I know what I want!
