I already have a standard navel piercing and started thinking about another. I started thinking about getting my nose done or getting an industrial but I wasn't sure. Then I started thinking that I didn't want a facial piercing or another ear piercing so another navel one was the way to go. I went on BME and looked at some pictures and read other peoples experiences. I had seen that getting an inverse navel piercing was a bit more painful than the standard but I was ready for it. So after some research and looking at different places to get it done I decided to do it.
The place were I got it done the first time was closed on Sundays so I decided to go to spider-bite. I had heard about them from the stand thats in the mall that has all of there jewelry. They looked like a really clean place and I know a lot of people that went there for either a piercing or tattoo so I thought that even though it was far away that was the best place to go. It was kind of a last minute decision. I had been thinking about it for a long time and I realized that I just had to go and get it done before I changed my mind. I had some dinner that way my blood sugar wasn't low. I had to go to the bank to get some cash cause most places you have to pay in cash. After what seemed like a long time of waiting my finance and I were on our way. The place that I got it done was like a good half hour away. So the car ride seemed like it took forever. I was already a little nervous but I had already gone through this before. Finally we arrived at the shop.I went in and gave them my ID and signed the papers. They went over the aftercare and then I picked out the jewelry. They had so much to choose from I couldn't believe it. It was a hard choice choosing between the colors cause you have to wait 6-9 months for it to heal. I picked a nice teal 2 stoned belly bar. Then I payed for it. Then I had to wait cause there was a girl getting her belly pierced before me. So looked at all the jewelry and watched some girl getting a tattoo. Then finally it was my turn. Jason lead me into a room and asked me to roll my shirt up. Then he marked the holes and asked me if I liked the placement. I did so he told me to lay down on the table. Then he got ready. I didn't even have time to think before I felt the needle go threw. Honestly the bottom hurt ten times worse than the top. It really hurt. Then I felt him putting the jewelry in. It was done and over in 5 minutes. I looked in the mirror and thats when I fell in love with it. Now I was on my way and I couldn't believe that it was over so quick.
I am so happy with my new piercing. I would do it again in a heartbeat. For me I thought that it hurt a lot. But you have to remember that everyone has a different pain factor. The best part was that the guy didn't tell me when he was going to do everything that way I wasn't just laying there expecting it. So it was over and done with before I could even think about it. I am so happy with my new piercing. It looks so good! I've wanted to have a double navel and now I have one. I would recommend this piercing to anyone. It is worth the pain in the end. Getting a piercing is one of those things that you think about and if you think too much then you are never going to go through with it. You should think to a certain extent cause you have to know if it is something that you want. I recommend looking at pictures and reading other peoples stories so that you know what to expect. I am the kind of person that once I decided that I want it I just have to do it so that i don't chicken out. So thats why i decided that I would go and get it today. I couldn't be more happier! It looks so good and I cant stop looking at it. I am constantly lifting up my shirt to look at it and i cant wait until the summer when i can show it off.
