Ever since I had gotten my first navel done (standard) I always wanted to get another one. I have looked at the pictures on BME, for quite some time. Seeing all of those different ideas to do made think of all of the possibilities I could do to one simple area. that's when it hit me that I wanted something different done to my navel area. I knew what I wanted, but I just didn't know when I was going to get it.

So it was the day that the deed was going to be done, I had decided after school. I told my friend Jamie and my boyfriend what I wanted to get done. They had said that they wanted to go with me. Jamie had never seen anyone get a piercing before so she was very excited to see one done for the first time. Brandon on the other hand had come with me through all of my other piercings so he knew what to expect. So we all went back to my house to drop our stuff off, and then we started our journey. We had to bundle up a bit because it was pretty cold outside. walking was our only choice of transportation, because none of us had a car at the time. It wasn't far, only about 6 blocks, but it was a good distance, for walking.
We arrived at Flesh Chamber West and was greeted at the door by one of the other piercers. He asked me if I knew what I wanted to get done today. Well since it was a Wednesday and they had their $15 a piercing deal going on I had to go with that, plus only having $20 in my pocket there was nothing else I could get. I told him that I wanted to get my navel done again. I did start having some doubts about it. Thoughts running through my head...."Was it going to hurt worse than my first?", "What if he can't do it, then what else am I going to get done?". So I went with it and decided to take a chance. With a lot of help from my friend Jamie. She told me that I can always take it out if I didn't like it. which was true.
Tatman had me go into the room where they do their piercings. A cozy little room, with needles and all that good stuff. He asked me how long I have had my first navel done, I told him about 6-7 months. He nodded his head and took the barbell out of my first navel. It was my Patrick barbell, you know from Sponge Bob Square Pants. Then he had me stand right in front of him so he could get the dots on the right place, using that blue Indian ink or whatever they use. I had to stand with my feet right in front of his. Then he asked me if that was good and we were ready for the next part. This next part I swore I could've screamed...it was the clamps!
Putting those clamps on was hell reborn again. I swore I had to of been making some of the most funniest faces, according to Jamie, she had this look like she was going to burst out laughing. It felt like someone was giving me a big titty twister, but on my stomach. That feeling wasn't the greatest. The skin is tighter and there wasn't a lot of skin to pierce me. That part i have to say hurt the worst out of the whole experience. I was so scared that he wasn't going to be-able to do it again, but he did it, he got them on, after about 10 tries. I was relieved it was time to lay down and let the poking begin. before he started to push the needle through he put some neosporin type stuff on the needle, so I'm guessing it would go through easier. It felt like getting a shot, not a bad feeling though. I could feel it pop as it poked through the other side. I say, as long as you take that deep breath you shouldn't feel a thing.
After everything was done and cleaned up, it did bleed, I'm not going to lie about that one. I was so excited that I had gotten my navel for a second time. For the after apart....my bottom navel bruised, and it was hell bending over for about 2 days, but I went through with it and I loved every seconded of it! Next I think I am going to get two more on the top!
