I've been wanting a belly button piercing since I was young girl. More specifically, I was 10 when i first got the idea of getting my navel pierced. I guess I must have seen some popular girl on TV with the piercing and I found it really nice. So...I asked my mom and her answer was the favorite answer of all parents (maybe not all parents, but a lot of them like to say that answer) My mom said: NO! So then, I waited until I was 12, same answer. I was definitely disappointed. However, I finally convinced my mom, at the age of 13. I must repeat this, I convinced MY MOM!! My mom only, my dad doesn't even know about this whole thing! Once, when I asked him, he said:OVER MY DEAD BODY! (but he is in another country for holidays so he has no idea whats going on and I really want to keep it that way)

ADRENALINE, that name sounded strangely formiliar. Thats because I've heard it on the radio, it was ranked number one piercing place in Montreal. Soo...I wanted to check it out. I wasn't in a hurry so it was a good opportunity. The workers were super nice there. I've talked to the piercer, and she answered all of my questions. So, I told my mom about the place and how it was nice, it was really squeaky clean (thats how she likes every thing, squeaky clean!), so.. she agreed about me getting it done at that place. I was so exited! Then, my mom took a day off so she could come with me because I was not old enough to go there by my own.
And then, the day finally came. I went there and a girl (that works there of course) showed me all the jewellery selection. I had a hard time choosing them because they were all soo nice. First I said that I wanted that one, then another one, and another one. Then, I finally made my decision. I chose a barbell with a red playboy bunny on a white background on both of the sides. It's really adorable. So then, there were a few people before me (to get their things pierced) and then it was finally my turn. Oh my god! I was speechless! I was soo... nervous.
I was shaking, I was super scared but at the same time I was really happy. So the piercer talked to me for a few minutes, about the piercing, and if I really want it and stuff like that. And then she cleaned my belly button and then marked it. It was perfect, just where I wanted it to be, straight, in the middle, I say it again..PERFECT! And she (the piercer, Jen) was so nice. Then I had to sit down on the special chair (it was really comfortable I have to admit) and she told me that she wouldn't pierce it with out letting me know first. So she asked me "are you ready?". Then the word just popped out of my mouth, I said "YES!" (I couldn't believe I said that out loud! I really didn't know what to expect) so she told me to take a deep breath and then I felt it! It was a HUGE pinch! It kind of hurt actually! Totally not what I expected! So she told me: O.K. The needle is in, all I have to do is put in the barbell. She told me once again to take a deep breath and to hold still. Then I would just feel it move (it was such a weird feeling) and when I finally got up, I HAD MY NAVEL PIERCED!! It looked so nice! And it still does.
I was so happy and she did such a great job. Later on, she would explain me how to clean it. And then it was over, the best experience I've had so far. I tipped her 10$. She thanked me a lot and so did I. In total, my mom paid 110$ (together with the tip). If you are in Montreal, you should definitely go do it at Adrenaline because its the best piercing place ever!
Now, my piercing is still healing but no infections or irritations. I went to sleep, then I woke up and everything was fine, great! The cleaning procedure doesn't take that long and I think it's totally worth it! My mom already bought me some barbells. She bought me two of them on the same day that I got it pierced, so imagine how much more she is going to buy me!
