Back in October, when I chickened out on my tragus piercing, I decided to get my belly button pierced. As everyday passed, I regretted not getting my tragus pierced. A few months later when I had to take my belly button ring out, it made me want that re pierced and my tragus pierced even more...only this time, no turn backs.

Finally when my belly button was closed and almost fully healed, I convinced my mom to get her bellybutton pierced. When her courage finally built up, I was ready for a piercing or two, also.

We called up to make sure someone who could pierce was available so we could go in and get the piercings. Back to Cosmic Closet once again, only this time with less nerves.

On the way over, trying to calm down my mother, I was hoping I'd get the same piercer who did mine back in October because she was such a cool girl. When we walked in, she was there ready to pierce me once again. I asked her to see if it would be okay for me to get my belly button re pierced and she said it was fine. I asked Sarah if she remembered me from months back when I chickened out on my tragus. Sarah asked me if I did a write up on the internet on the piercings. I have done them before on belly button piercing part site and she told me she read my story just a few days ago. I was pretty shocked because it was kind of ironic.

Anyway, after picking out our silver and black balled jewelry, my mom volunteered to get her belly button done first. With the same procedure all over again, it was all so familiar. Sarah put on her gloves, cleaned off the area with solution, and made everything sterile. With us both trying to calm down my mother, Sarah made her feel much less nervous. She marked the spots and clamped her stomach. With a deep breath, she stuck the needle right through. My mother kind of whimpered and whined as I expected she would, but it was so quick, not even enough time to feel anything.

I was next. Sarah perfectly marked the area above when it was the last time and repeated the same sterilizing procedure. She is very careful about that kind of stuff. I was really not even nervous this time which really helps a lot. And with a deep breathe she told me to take, the needle was through and it was all done and over with once again. Although I had some scar tissue built up because of the last time, it really did not make a difference pain wise because it honestly does not hurt!

As everyone conversed about other piercings and things, my mom asked me if I wanted my tragus done because she would allow me to. I had to sit there and think about it for a minute but Sarah reassured me that I would be fine, even though it does hurt more than a belly button. One thing about Sarah is she is very honest with her customers and honesty is the key.

I went to go pick out my tragus ring, a silver one with a silver ball to match my bellybutton ring. I was once again back in that chair, facing my fear that I turned back on the last time. I kept telling myself that it only takes a few seconds and that I would regret it while everyone tried to make me feel comfortable. Sarah checked to see which tragus would be better to pierce based on size. She marked my left tragus and it was in a perfect position. Sitting in that chair waiting for it to happen, made me pretty nervous. She was telling me about how lately a lot of people have been coming in to get that pierced because it was a cool piercing. She was very honest with me, once again, like she is with everyone, and shared that you can actually hear it crunch when the needle goes through and that it hurts more than your belly button. It's so nice though to have someone be that honest with you. She placed a popsicle stick behind my tragus because it's a hard piercing to maneuv er, considering the needle ends up right in your ear. She told me to take a deep breath and in about 3 seconds it was done. Honestly, it more painful than your belly button, but nothing that would ever cause tears. It's hard to get it through because it is a thick part of your ear. It has to go halfway in and then easily through the back part of it. It looked really cool when it was done and all cleaned up. Sarah said she wanted hers done now too. It really is an awesome piercing, very unique.

My tragus experiences, along with my belly button ones, have all been great. Sarah Reale is the best body piercer! She is very honest with her customers and makes them all feel very relaxed and comfortable with her stories, experiences, and great sense of humor. She makes sure everything is perfectly done and sanitary, which is very important. Sarah is very friendly and talkative which is probably the reason why people keep coming back to her like I did. Thanks Sarah and good luck in California!

To anyone who is considering a tragus or navel piercing, go through with it, you will be very happy. Regardless of what everyone else tells you too, it does not hurt.

*By the way, only use dial antibacterial soap when cleaning piercings such as your navel, ear, or eyebrow because it's the best thing unlike peroxide!*
