Me and my friend nat have always wanted our belly buttons pierced. But our mums percised to say no. We kept begging and begging until my mum (kirsty) said yes! I could'nt beleive it. Its not that my mum is strict its just she is worried it will go sore. so i told my mate. and we were really excited. We had to try to convince nats mum to change her mind but she still said no. so i went down to the place i wanted to have it done although it dosent have the best reputation!

Althrough the day i was shittin it well bad and was prepared for the most pain.I met my mum in town and nat came with me. I went in and i was shitting my self. i went in and was talking to some girls and they had had theres done and said it didn't hurt it just tickled so that made me have more confidence.
I was waiting over 20 minutes until the barbell i had chosen was sterilised and all the equipment. I went in i took my shoes off and led douwn on the bed and she clamped my skin which just stung and nipped a bit.
then she put some numbing stuff on and it was numb and then she fiddled around a bit and made me more nervous. she was just about to pierce it when she realised i had a phobia of needles. she told me it dosent hurt and showed me her belly button she had it done four times 2 at the side and 1 at the bottom and 1 at the top as well as her tongue, eyebrow and clit and both her nipples although she was really bonnie.
Then she pierced it and it didnt hurt one little bit. She then inserted the jewellery and she told me this might hurt and it did she sprayed some antiseptic on.
It was perfect for about a week then my stomach swelled and the jewellry sunk in to my skin. I went back and she fitted me a bigger one and it is fine now

i wanted my belly button done for about 2 years but then went of the idea because everyone was always saying it really hurt. But then decided to get it done anyway, my mum did not want me to have it done so i said i would pay for it myself at Christmas and she said ok but said dont come to her if it went horrible.
I said to her i thoght it would be a better idea to have it done in the summer holidays and she said yes. when the summer holidays came me and kirst went to book it for a week later when the day came i was so scared i got up and felt really sick .
me and my mum got in the car and went in to the shop were i met kirsty .I was waiting for 15 mins for him to come and 45 mins for him to sort everything out. when he called me up i felt like was going to be sick.
I got up there and led down he cleaned all around were he was going to pierce and then put the numbing stuff on then he put the clamp on and asked if it was alright and i said yes then turned to kirsty and said it was killing.he got the needle and lifted up the clamp and put it through it did not hurt i couldnt beleive it then he got the barbell and put it in and then cleaned it up and it was done!
It was fine for about 2 weeks and then went a bit red it was really nice. I got a new bar and it was really nice but made my belly button a little bit sore. ( it was a pink union jack )
It was really nice and i have just bought a swirly purple one. And i put it in today and i had a blood blister and i popped it but it is alright now.
alot of my mates have asked
1. does it hurt?
the answer is no it dosent hurt at all you should go for it
2. how long does it take to heal?
for mine i took it out after 4 weeks and it was fine but everyone has a different healing time
3. whats the best bar material to use?
titanium and gold are good sterling sliver gets a little itchy though.
4.does the clamp hurt?
the answer is no it nipps a bit though
5.what should u clean it with?
you should clean it with salt water diluted lavender oil and savlon
