OMG I just got mah belly button pierced! I haven't showed it off too much. I luv it's so cool. And I've gotten lots of complements on it! My mom has hers done too. She really liked hers and she's had it for two years and she took really good care of it.

It took a lot of convincing because my mom said that I had to ask my dad. And I knew he would never approve of it. So I gave up for a while, the n one day my mom said we'll just hide it from your dad you don't see him that much anyways. And I said cool. She said I had to take really good care of it and I said I would, because I'm really skinny and tan and it would look really good on me.
I was scared that it would hurt. My belly used to be really ticklish but I started to play with fake belly button rings and it wasn't so ticklish anymore. I have a really muscular belly so the man who pierced it said it was hard to get through. That I had abs of steel. lol
~Monday~
So we went to the place where my mom got hers done two years earlier because it was really safe and sterile. But when we got there they said I had to be 18 and they wouldn't touch me because of there insurance but he recommended some places to us. So we went to the beach the same day that is like a 30 min. drive (and longer when your nervous) and the place that the dude recommended to us was closed. I was so upset but we went shopping and out to eat to get my mind off of it.
~Tuesday~
We went back to the place that the dude recommended and it was open. YES! So my mom and I went in and they said we had to have ids that had matching last names and address and I had to be 15. So we went to a different place and my mom got hers changed there but she didn't think it was clean and safe enough to get mine pierced there so we went home with no belly button ring.L
~Wednesday~
Me, my mom, and my cousin went to the beach for the third time. (Third times a charm) We went to a place with our matching ids and stuff and they said that they would do it. I was so happy. So I picked out a silver curved barbell and they took it back to be cleaned. Then, they called my mom and me back to "the room" and the piercer said he couldn't sake my and so we shook elbows. Then I rolled my shirt up and he marked my belly with a dot and told me to lie down. He put the clamps on and he said that the mark rubbed off so he had to take the clamps off and mark it again. I was crying because I was nervous and he hadn't even done anything. So he put the clamps back on and said how do you want me to do it, like one, two, and he had pierced it!J I was like owww. Then he said it's all done. I felt a little lightheaded so he gave me some ice packs and then I felt better. I got up tipped him and left. I was walking kind of funny because it hurt but I was so happy!
~That night~
I rode in the car for a long time and it started to bleed a little. It stopped after a while. I couldn't sleep on my tummy and it was a little sore but that was it. But it was too sore to get the blood off that night.
~The next day~
I knew I had to clean the dried blood off so I went in the shower and put the soap on my belly. And they tell you to put the soap on and then move the barbell up and down and that hurt so bad. I felt sick to my stomach and I had to lie down for a while and then I ate something and felt a whole lot better. I had to be careful not to touch it the first couple days but after that it was fine.
I luv mah belly button and I would do it again and again if I could. I want to get my tongue pierced but that will take a lot of convincing. I think they look so cool and I love them. lol
