Naval's away!

I had alway's wanted to get my navel pierced but i was a little chicken at first. My brother had talked me into geting it done so I let my inexperienced brother pierce my navel. That's what i did wrong' a week after my naval became infected and I was scared,Because it made my belly button look nasty.Well a week after that it started to look better but it hurt a little I asked my brother if that was normal he said'Oh yeah it always does that'.So like a dumb ass I kept it in but i was really young when i got it though I think i was 14 years old.A couple of day's later it had got hooked on a sweater i ws wearing and my naval ring was pulled out! Ouch!!! that hurt a lot. Well I know now to not let anyone other than a professional work on your body.

That's when I got smart four years later I wanted to pierce my navel again so i went to a local piercing place in town who had stretched my ears a couple of day's before i went to get my navel done. I had a small scar from my previous navel piercing which was a disaster.

He made sure that it was going to come out right and he also made sure i was comfortable with everything. He explained what he was doing and why,I like the fact that he did that because it helped me understand what was happening to me.

We had discussed which type of banana barbell i wanted or hoop.

He let me know which one would be better for me and he also told me which one would best fit the healing time.

When it was time to stick the needle in I was a little nervous because the last time my brother pierced my navel it hurt like hell.

so i asked him if it was going to hurt and he said not as much as you get your ears stretched. So he slowly put it i to make sure it was going in straight and i didn't feel a thing. After it was done he put sea salt on it to help clean it and it made the burning go away.So after it was all done he told me what type of soap i should use to help it heal and what will help clean it.

He gave me a how to take care of paper and it said all piercings must be cleaned 3to 4 times a day with warm water and mild non-perfume soap.Bactine should be applied after cleansing to disinfest the area.Along with bactine, sea salt solution.Disinfectant can be and should be used as often as possible,to redness redness, irritation and swelling. The piercing should be submerged in the sea salt solution for five minutes at a time.Always clean hands before touching a new piercing and Never let anyone else touch it.

The sea salt solution worked very well for my after care cleaning. It was a water and sea salt based solution with 1tbsp,sea salt with 8 oz warm water. After weeks went by the redness had faded away and the piercing was very clean and i kept clean everyday.

It has been six months now that i have my navel piercing and I can say it doesn't hurt has never been infected and it look's clean and healed to me.I liked the way everything went I know i'm going back to blackwidow everytime i need something done. It wasn't the first time i had something done in that shop he also stretched my ears in the process he also explained what he was doing.I like to know what's going on.I have some advice for any young kid's who may read this' dont try thing by yourself because you might not know what your doing and you can get hurt really bad.

Another thing that i like about geting my navel pierced was my old scar was hidden from the new navel piercing so that was also good.I 'am now a really bad jewlery buyer there are so many cut sheilds for your navel piercing and it look's hot'i know guy's like it.Well i might be heading back to the shop to get another navel piercing or i might want to do some type of sun project on my navel i know that geting it done at blackwidow will be fun.

The shop is clean and if they dont have something that you want (which is very rare) they will order it for you.The people who work there are great and friendly there .
