EMILY GOT A BELLY RING!!!!!!

Hi ya'll....I'm Emily. I'm 17 and a senior in high school. Last summer i was CRAVING a belly button ring. I met my best friend last summer too and she had gotten her's pierced about a year before. I wanted one so bad, even before i knew she had it. I had gotten my ears pierced once in 7th grade, and then got double pierce in 9th. Mom said that was it. No more holes in my body. Well in winter of my sophomore year i got the notion to pierce my ears a third time. I pierced the left ear again myself right after the 1st and 2nd holes, and then on the right ear i did it a little farther up, like almost to where the cartilage is. i wanted it to be asymetrical. mom found out a month later and i got in trouble but she let me keep them, but no more holes she said. i actually did my left cartilage but it hurt like A BITCH so i took it out.

Ok...back to my belly button. i have a good flat belly so the only thing i needed to make it cuter was a belly ring. oh god...i had to have it. so in july me and my best friend heather were driving around at night listening to the Dixie Chicks getting all depressed about our love lives cause both the guys we were dating were being dickheads. So heather was like..."lets go pierce your bellybutton!" i was like OK!! So off we headed to Tribal like 5 minutes away from her house. I was so excited. I was kinda worried though cause i'm only 17. So its like midnight and the place is packed. So we go up to the guy and i'm like "I wanna get pierced" He's like "are ya 18?" And i said yea, so then he asked to see my id and i thought SHIT!!! So i said its at home in my car cause heather drove us. (even though my car was right outside the store.) so he's goes "fine...come with me" We were like YESSSSS!!!!!!!

So we go into a little clean professional looking room and i sat in the dentist looking chair. He got all his tools ready and marked my belly button. Then he swabbed the stuff on and put on the clamp. I really didn't have time to freak out cause BAM!!!!!...i was pierced!!! it didn't hurt but a tiny bit. i went to look in the mirror and was like WOW...It looked damn good. It was a silver ring with a dark gray shiny ball. very cute. so then we left and heather drove my car cause it was startin to stingand i wanted to lay down. Then we met up with our friends chris and brayton and i showed them and it looked bad ass. later that night at heathers house i was lookin at it and i was like "holy shit!!!...they completely missed my belly button. The bottom hole was right where the top hole should have been. not at all in my belly button. i was kinda pissed, but thats what i get for lying and saying i'm 18 when i'm not. i though oh well...i'm pierced!!! a week later i got tired of people saying "hey...its not in your belly button...its in you tummy" i'd be like "thanks for rubbing it in captain obvious" i was pissed.

So we went back to the place a week later and the guy that pierced my tummy wasn't even there cause he got fired!!!! so i showed the manager and he was like DAMN! So he took it out and told me to come back in a week and he'd redo it for free. So i agreed. Heather and i went out of town for two weeks so it was really healed by the time we came back. A different guy was there and he would NOT pierce it even though i brought by paperwork, the ring, and my tiny scar. He said he had to check with his manager and i was like "ok...the manager is the one who said he'd do it for free" and they guy didn't believe us so we left fuming.

i kinda forgot about it over the next few weeks but i still wanted it back. so it was the day before school and heather and i were at the mall and guess who we saw walking the mall!!?? THE MANAGER!! So i showed him my belly and told him the guy wouldn't redo it. so he told us to come in the next day and he'd do it. So we were like YAY!! So after our 1st day of school we went up to tribal AGAIN!!! The manager guy hardly even said anything...just took us to the room, sterilized the stuff, marked the dot, and BAM...once again i was pierced, only this time my actual belly buttom was pierced!!. The 2nd time didn't even hurt as bad as the 1st one. I was very happy, and drove my car this time. it was looking really good, and then a few days later it got SOOOOOO red. i mean my whole belly button inside was red. i freaked and cleaned it so much everyday with that antibacterial shit. it really helped with the red. then, a few weeks later the old piercing just went crazy! i barely had a mark from the old piercing when suddenly it was this huge red bump between the 2 new holes. I mean it was disgusting. I was really mad. i figured it was scar tissue so i got this stuff at the pharmacy called hibicleanse which is supposed to help with scar tissue. it worked wonders and i was very happy. I also started to soak it like twice a day in warm water and salt. That worked soooooo well.

Now it is just fine and doesn't hurt a bit. you can see a tiny tiny little red dot where the old piercing was but you really have to look hard to see it. It looks really really good!!! I am very very happy with it and recommend it to everyone!!! My mom still doesn't know about it. She said i could get it when i was 18, so i just have to hide it for....5 MORE FREAKIN MONTHS!!! This is going to be hard. Oh well...my belly button is pierced!!!! So i've had it for exactly 3 months, 1 week, and 2 days. Does anyone know how long i have to wait until i can change it??? Please write me if you know the right time. I've heard 6 weeks and 6 months. I don't want to do it too soon cause i do NOT want it to close up and end up getting it done for a 3rd time!! So please let me know. When i turn 18 i also want to get my tongue pierced. Heather got hers done like a week before i got my belly done the 2nd time.
