About six months ago I was speaking with a friend of mines and she was very enthusiastic about her new monroe piercing me being a big fan of piercing was just as excited. Who ever said body art didn't make you feel as good as a new t-shirt or pair of shoes must didn't have any because I know that after a piercing I feel as good as new. So after a few minutes of discussion I mentioned to my friend about getting another piercing of my own I was just so amazed at how good her facial piercing look at her excitement was ringing through the air I really wanted to get one. Recently having gotten my nose done, belly button and having already my ears done in two spots I decided to go for an more outrageous piercing then the norm since my personality is not of the norm( all evidence that I am not a well breed American).

Ruling out the monroe piercing for myself(because some piercings only look good on certain people) I went in search of a very facial fitting piercing for my oval face after many discussions with many people and research on the many different piercings you can get I decided on the snake bites. Why get one when two is just so much cooler that is always the deal in my book. Since I had formally moved from Tucson,Arizona to Clinton,Maryland with my family I went in search of a piercer in the area. After many more searches through friends who digged bod mod as much as I do I located Mike at Inkwizards. I called just to make sure he did what my friend told me he did and was instantly verified and felt a friendly connection to this piercer. It was all set when I arrived at Inkwizards which was a little shop with a lot of personality I was very impressed with the customer service friendliness and cleanliness of the place I made myself comfortable inside. I waited very patiently for M ike to finish up with the previous client, checking out the different tattoo art on the walls I have to give props where props are needed not only are the employees their good at doing piercing their tattoo artwork is exceptionally.
So once my wait was over I was escorted to the back where I was gestured to have a sit on what looked like a hospital exam bed. Mike was very friendly we chatted for awhile about different topics as he washed he's hands and put on a fresh pair of latex gloves. I was then handed a small plastic cup of listerne and was told to rinse my mouth out in the bathroom to kill the germs before the procedure. When I was all done with that task I sat back down on the table and showed Mike exactly where I wanted the placement of the piercings to be. The procedure went without flaws just a little blood, and no pain at all for me. I decided on the studs more so then the rings just for easier cleaning afterwards. I recommend people in this area go to Inkwizards for all their piercing fantasies because Mike was so fast and clean with the procedure he changed he's gloves after each step and I watched him remove the needles from a sterile package. Afterwards I thanked him kindly and left.
A few days later I felt little pain with semi swollen of the area. The healing process went very well no pus or discharge from the area. Up until the fourth week when a dentist appointment irritated the area and it swelled up right afterwards. A few days later I noticed a small bump under my right labret I panicked and instantly called Mike up he told me to come in to take a look at it. So I rushed my way over to Inkwizards after a examination of the bump he assured me it was nothing to worry about it. I immediately bought more salt water spray and started brushing my teeth 3x a day. It took about 2 weeks and a half for the lump to disappear and I was so grateful afterwards I really had grown attached to my snake bites and didn't want to have to take them out. Now six months later I declare myself healed enough to change out my rings after a few trials I am really stuck on the loops in my snake bites they give a very unique look to the duo but the best thing for me is to chan ge the ball of my labret to match my outfit. Now am back to square one deciding for my 18 birthday what piercing I should get to declare myself independent. Am very interested in the dimples or a wrist piercing but I do know I will be returning to Inkwizard to get it done.
