Well I had been thinking about getting a piercing for say about two to three weeks, It was kind of a spur of the moment thing and I decided I wanted to have a change in my look. My mate Mick had also been wanting his septum done for a while. We decided to try and sort something out about a week ago to try and arrange us getting out piercings together and also try to convince our parents etc.

I decided I'd have a look on BME and look at some piercing to see what I thought looked the coolest. I decided I'd go with a center labret slightly lowered to just above the line on your chin.
So we had managed to convince our parents and we decided we'd try to get it done when we were out doing Parkour. Mick had just turned sixteen that Wednesday so he was legal, I on the other hand was still fifteen but my mum more than happily agreed to come over to say it was cool for me to get it done and she had to sign a form too.
So we were out doing Parkour then the time came to head down to Glasgow Piercing Studio so we could meet up with my mum to get our piercings. I'm not scared of needles in the least so I wasn't too scared and neither was Mick so we headed down to Glasgow Piercing Studio. We got there and met up with my mum. There was no one in the waiting room and the piercer was just sorting some paperwork in the back room.
So Mick, Tasha, Yoda, Steve, Colin, Liam, Cozy, My Mum and Gran waited in the waiting room talking about getting the piercing and as the woman came out and asked who was getting what done I said to her what I wanted and decided I might as well go first and get it over and done with.
We headed into the back room, Signed some forms then she took me back to her piercing bed. It was all very sterile and the place was gleaming white. She asked again what I wanted and proceeded to draw on the dot, Which I said to her that it was a bit high and wanted it lower down. She said ok thats fine and drew on another dot, Which this time was perfect for me.
She told me what she was going to do and talked with me about that it may swell etc. She had took out all her equipment by now and had it laying down on a metal drawer next to me. She told me to rinse my mouth out with a mouthwash, which tasted vile, then took out an icing spray to numb the outer layer of my lip. I said to her I would get it done without it but she said it helps and put it on anyway. She clamped my lip and took out the needle to put through my lip. When I first saw the needle I was thinking great it's all very sterile but damn thats a big needle! She said to me that it doesn't hurt as much as you ill have made it out to. So she said to me take a deep breath and as I did so she put the needle through straight away. I could feel adrenaline coursing through my lip, spreading all over my face and body. She put the labret on the end of the needle and pushed out the needle as she slid in the labret.I was surprised that there was no blood too! She said to me that it was all finished and made a joke that screwing on the ball was the hardest part of the piercing.
I stepped up, looked in the mirror, said thanks a lot and paid her.I feel bad as I only had two As we walked outside everyone wanted to see it which I though was funny. She took Mick in to get his done next and he came out with a new Septum. Me and Mick left the shop with new piercings and loads of adrenaline. I would recommend anyone who stays near Glasgow to her as she is a great piercer and everything is very clean and sterile.

P.S. I only got my piercing done today and so far there is absolutely no swelling, No pain etc. It's great and I love it! If anyone wants to get a piercing definetly get it done because you won't regret it. Some people heal differently though to you shouldn't be worried if it swells etc. because it's perfectly normal.
