I just got my Off centered Lowbret done yesterday! So it started a few months ago when I was looking at pictures on this site because I wanted to get something new and I love getting new piercing and tattoos for the rush, and I had seen a picture of a girl who had her off center Lowbret which is more closer to the chin and I loved it but I wasn't sure how it would look on me.
At A Glance Author Cassie Contact cass02211026@hotmail.com When A week ago Artist Jeremy Studio Tainted Skin Location Crown Point, Indiana After having other piercing's done and 3 tattoos I figured I could handle it even though I'm not a huge fan of Pain and adrenaline just scares me I decided I was for sure doing this cause my 18th birthday was a week ago so I figured I can do what I want now. My best friend had wanted hers as well so I convinced her to go get it with me. We decided to go do it the next day but we weren't sure where we were going to go get it done at. So the next day I left school a few hours early and went to her house and went threw the phone book to get some numbers to see how much it was going to be. My brothers tattoos he got done and Culture Shock and Tainted skin so I figured id call those to places first and after calling we decided on Tainted Skin because it was closer.
So we went to the bank got money and headed to the shop and my nerves where pretty bad as they usually are when I go to get some sort of modification done. By the time we got there we sat in the car for about 15 minutes playing with my nose rings trying to figure out where the stud would look best on us. We decided on complete opposite sides of the face. When we walked in to tainted skin in Crown Point, Indiana. A really nice guy helped us and filled out our paper work and told us he would be the one doing our piercing and he would be back he had to go set up. My friend decided she should go first because if I go first she was afraid she'd back out, so I let her.
It took her about 10 minutes so I got even more nervous sitting there waiting. When she came out I seen and I loved it so I knew I had to do it. I starred at it for a few seconds and then Jeremy told me it was turn so of course I pranced back there. I was shaking cause of all the nerves I had so he sat there and talked to me and told me what to expect and that it wouldn't be any worse than anything that I had. Then he cleaned the area and marked it so I could see and make sure that it was good. After I sat back down he clamped it and counted for me and it was in. I started shaking out of excitement so he checked to make sure I was ok and hurried up and put the post in and the ball on and took the needle out so I could see. I loved it. It wasn't painful at all and it looked exactly how I had pictured it too.
I took Ibuprofen 800's that night to keep the swelling down and me and my friend wanted to change the balls to rhinestone balls cause we didn't like the plain ones so we did that without pain. Which I'm pretty sure we weren't suppose to but it looked a lot better that way. The next day it was pretty sore no worse than a normal piercing it didn't really affect my eating or drinking of anything just kind of throbbed a little bit but nothing a few Ibuprofen couldn't easily fix. The swelling the next few days is tolerable just make sure the when you get it done, that they use the larger bar so it has room to swell. If your are looking to get this piercing I would highly recommend it, its not painful it looks good and its nothing to drastic.
If your interested in seeing pictures of it feel free to email me I have tons of pictures from when it happened cause I am so proud of it. The only down set is some people look at is trashy or it doesn't look right because I'm not punk I'm preppy... but its still gorgeous so I don't care. If your looking for a piercer he's is your man! He made things a lot more comfortable for me and makes it more personal would definitely recommend him as a piercer to anyone in the northwest Indiana area. He really knew how to relax you and I shared my tattoos with him after. Just a really great guy. Best experience I've had an any place I've been to by far.
