Anyways few years passed and I managed to let my mum say yes to getting my belly button pierced ( that took a lot of persuading) Then after the excitement of that had faded I really wanted something else done.I wanted something visible and something that hardly anyone had. Of Course a Madonna so I read stories on BME about the process and after care of a Madonna . By the time I new what happened and stuff I had a job and that meant I had money . Also because I am 16 I can get piercing done without my parents permission. I told my mum that and she said no way as long as you live with me you are not having nothing through your face. After a couple of weeks of moaning and ignoring my mum I just decided to get it done.
So Last week on a Monday I went with my friend to get it done. She also really wanted it done but she would get shot if she came home with on the other hand I was going to stand my ground. An ways I filled out the form with my heart racing 300 mph . The owner of the shop (Keith) then called me in and sat me down . He then gave me some mouthwash to rinse my mouth with (to get rid of any germs) he then wiped around the area . He then put a dot were he thought was best but I wanted it a bit left and down a bit . After 1,000 of dots I chose one and he sprayed numbing spray ( That tasted disgusting like nail polish and apricots an pure alcohol not nice at all) Then He clapped it (some people say that is the worst bit but not for me the spray was.) Then I saw him open the needle packet and what not. He The Said Close your eyes and count to 5 in your head . It was done . I didn't feel a thing well I heard it pop when it came through the other side . Then He Put the plain silver labret in that didn't feel that to bad it just tugged a bit. It did bled a bit but not like gushing. He then gave me more mouth wash it was hard a 1st so I ended up dribbling all over my jeans ( mmm pretty)Then I jumped of the seat and paid him £35
My mate looked worse than I did she went all pale and said No way am I getting that done. So her mum thanked me for putting her of it . Obviously I didn't go back to my house . I tried to stay out as long as I could. And I could eat straight away and it didn't hurt . It felt weird at 1st but o got used to it. But when the clock hit 11 I thought I better go home . My sister was still up and she went WOW my mum came running over and said That is disgusting! I was so shocked I thought she would tell me to take it out or start shouting at me . But she never . I went upstairs and cleaned my teeth and rinsed mouthwash round my mouth (I didn't dribble that time) and I went to bed. The next morning it was swollen but that went down after 3 days . Everyone at worked loved it and all my mates even the one that said it was disgusting 4 years ago.
That all happened a week ago . The bar is far to long now so it can get annoying when I eat but part from that I love it so much also my mum has grown to love it . I am getting the bar changed next week 2 a little diamond. I have to clean my teeth 3 times a day and use mouth wash every time I eat and so on also after kissing but that is a bit hard when your in a park but I do make sure I do it when I get home. I will suit anyone at 1st I thought it didn't suit me but people kept saying to me that it did. So seriously if you're thinking about it go for it and let no one stop you .
