I got my check on the 27th of June and planned to get my cheeks pierced for the second with it. I walked down to Planet Ink and talked to Matt. He said that he didn't have the jewelery, but that he could have it and pierce it a week from then, the 4th of July. I nodded, agreed and set a time for the following Friday, 2:00 pm, and payed him in advance for them.

I anticipated anxiously for Friday to roll around.
Though it felt about the same length of time as a month or so, Friday eventually did come. I went downtown early to talk to Matt to see if we were still on, and to see if he could take out my rook(I toss and turn in my sleep so cartilage piercings don't heal properly on me. They fall victim to keloids VERY easily.). I walked by Planet Ink Extreme and noticed Matt sitting behind the desk. My initial thought: "Ah... what's Matt doing at the small shop? He only works at the big shop now." Turns out Mike(the guy who works the desk at Planet Ink Extreme) had called in sick and Matt was called in to cover for him. He explained that he'd be working until 5:00 pm at the small shop, then going down to the big shop. He apologized and told me that the appointment would have to be pushed back until 6:00 pm. I didn't want to wait, but I didn't really have a choice, let alone it was well worth the wait. I would've waited a few days, if need be.
I wandered about for another hour or so, then began walking towards Planet Ink again. It was about 5:30 pm, and as I walked by Planet Ink Extreme again, Matt was still there. I walked in and he told me he'd been called in until 6pm now, and that he'd be heading over there afterwards. He also asked to give him about a half hour or so to set up and get ready, etc.
So, another short period of time to kill. I had a friend with me throughout this little adventure, of sorts, so we decided to go talk to Paul(the guy who works the desk at the big shop) at Planet Ink. We talked to him and Jonny for a while until Matt came in, set everything up and called us back. Took about 10-15 minutes for him to do, nothing I couldn't wait.
He had me lie down(unlike the first time he pierced my cheeks, I was sitting up) for these two. I was having rings put in, as well, not barbells. He put the betadine on one side, cleaned it off with an alcohol swab, measured, marked it, eyed it out carefully and proceeded to the other side. Once he thought they were properly aligned, I stood up and took a look in the mirror. Perfect, or as close to as they could've been(something Matt seems to be really good at). I lied back down on the table-doctor's chair thing(I've no idea what to call it, really) and then opened my mouth wide to be clamped.
Matt clamped my cheek the same way he did when he pierced my cheeks the first time(clamped it farther back, then gently pulled the clamp to the marking) and got ready to pierce it. Just as the first time, he was piercing them from the inside out. One, two, three. In goes the needle. A slight pinch when it went through a small amount of muscle, more so then my first cheek piercings.
Onto the second. Same clamping procedure and ready. One, two, three. In goes the second needle. Same slight pinch, a bit more painful then the first, not much more though. I stood up a few seconds after they were done to check out how they looked. Second one looked the same as the first: Perfect.
Matt took a few pictures of the fresh piercings before I thanked him a last time, told him I'd be in to see him in a few days so that he can check up on them, and took off to go show Josh at the small shop.
The following day wasn't too bad. They bled a bit, but nothing too severe.
The third day, that's when things got bad. They just started bleeding... a lot. One of them wasn't so bad, but the right one wouldn't stop bleeding. And it wasn't just ordinary blood you would see from a scratch or something, it was the thick blood that looks kind of chunky. It bled like that for just over a day, over twenty four hours. At one point, I figured I had to go to bed sooner or later, best make it sooner then later then. I put two towels on my bed, one of my pillows(kept my head elevated whenever I slept), the other just under my pillow to catch any drops of blood, if any.
I awoke the next morning to what I expected: a face full of blood. The left one had bled a bit again, enough to drip down to my labret. The right one, however, bled down past my lowbret and almost to my collar bone.
Luckily, since then, the bleeding has ceased and things seem to be going alright. They're a bit tender, and still a bit sensitive and sore, but healing.
