It had been...about a month since I last got pierced, I had second 4 gauge holes in my ears done. I had been hanging out with my other modified friends when we decided to go to the mall to freak people out and get some food, we met another friend at the mall who has double vertical labrets and when I saw them for the first time I fell in love with them they looked so good.

Someone earlier had also mentioned septum and I had wanted that for almost a year but never got around to getting it.
...fast forward about two weeks beginning of the month so I got my money for everything I do. I had told my mom about the two piercings I wanted and she agreed like normal to both of them. Here is a hint to underage people who want mods and their parents are okay with it, ask them for advice on what you want to get sometimes they come up with good points.
Three days later, wednesday now I come home from school very excited about my new piercing/s, I still hadn't decided on which one I wanted. It all was actually based on total cost of each piercing that was going to decide which piercing I was going to get. I had called the night before to check on prices and Ben the guy who answered the phone was kind of helpful he told me average prices, but what he did correct me on was, High Priestess Piercing has an apprentice day ( I don't know if all shops do this) but an apprentice pierces you and it costs ten dollars for the setting which would help in paying for the vertical labrets since it was two piercings.
My mom and I get in the car and drive downtown. We park in back walk around and walk in. There were the normal wednesday amount of people about four or five. I waited in line for maybe 2 minutes and then Ben again asked me how he could help and I told him I wanted to get pierced. "cool" he said. then Georg came walking out his piercing room after helping someone else. He finished with them and then said hey to me, we shook hands and he asked what I was there for. So I told him i wanted my septum pierced. So he had Ben set me up with the paper work and My mom and I filled it out and gave it back to Ben, he took me over to the display case and showed me the pinchers that they had in stock and I decided on a 12 gauge and I asked if it was possible to get it through the flesh and not the cartilage since I have a problem with cartilage piercings not knowing that that is how they do it any ways he answered me and we went and sat down.
After about five to ten minutes of sitting there Georg with a little break came and crotched next to me and my mom and we started to talk a little. He asked if I wanted to have anything else done while I was there and I didn't say anything for like 30 seconds and my mom told him I was thinking about getting my lip. I corrected her and told him I wanted to get double vertical labrets. He asked how much money I had and I told him and being the kind generous person he is said okay "I'll hook you up since you keep coming back." I sat kind of shocked for a sec and asked something like, what? and he told me I'll give you all three. I really didn't know what to say but before I could any ways he walked away.
So after he prepared the room he called me in and I sat down on the "bench" and he started marking my lip around my labret. He finished, I jumped off looked in the mirror and said it looks great so he had me lay down and we started. Simply he put the needle to my lip told me to breath in and let it out bam half way done breath in and out and out the needle went, coming out was the worst part in my opinion but not too bad. now the second one same procedure but this time coming out I got dizzy for the first time out of every single one of my piercings. But after about 30 seconds I was ok the jewelry was in and I sat up then he marked my septum and we did that.
Vertical labrets really weren't that bad in a pain scale, they look great and are worth everything that they come with (i.e. horrible chapped lips, along with the chapped lips the blood from the top makes your lip look really gross but soaking them and using liquid vitamin e takes care of it.) mine healed in about a month. I love them, and if you are thinking about getting them or just one go for it, it is so worth it.
