When I was about 14 I wanted an eyebrow piercing. After begging my parents they said it was ok. Because I didnt feel like paying it myself I asked if I could get it as a birthday present. My mom agreed and said she wanted to come with me (cause I needed my mom's premission anyway) I was very excited and looking forward to it. The day before my mom asked me to go by the shop and see if I needed to make an appointment.

So I went to the shop the next day abut it was closed, it said they would open up again in 15 minutes or so. So I w8ed just like the rest of the people before the shop. Though I knew I wasnt getting my eyebrow pierced that day I was nervous. After 15 minutes the owner opened up the shop, everybody went in and it was really crowded (cause it was a very small shop). When it was my turn (finally) I asked if I needed to make an appointment, they said i didnt need one and had to come by whenever I felt like getting it pierced. So the next day, after school I met up with my mom and sister before the shop. I was really nervous, and my mom and sister were excited too. I said to the piercer that I wanted an eyebrow piercing. She asked for my age and said 14 was too young. She said to come back next year or so. I was really dissapointed but relieved too that they atleadt gave me some good advice. For all I know they could have just said yes and pierced me just for the money.

My mom was relieved too cause she knew it was a good piercing shop that doesnt just do it for the money.

After a year, when I was 15 I didnt want an eyebrow piercing anymore. I decided I wanted a lip piercing. It wasnt something I just decided, I had been thinking about for a while now. After arguing with my parents they finally agreed to it. But they said I had to pay for it myself. "No problem, I'll pay for it myself".

It took me about another year to finally go back to the shop to get my lip pierced.

I took 2 of my friends with me and we went after school. I was excited again, not really nervous. Though one of my friends was nervous. She didnt like the idea of seeing a needle going through my skin. But she said she wanted to come with me because she desperately wanted an eyebrow piercing, so now she could see how it's done and if she really wanted to go through it.

When we arrived at the piercing shop I had to fill out a form. They saw I was 16 so they had to call one of my parents for premission. I called my dad, and he kind of forgot about the fact I was going to get my lip pierced. He was kinda suprised but agreed to it. The piercer talked to my dad and explained what they were gonna do. She said to me I had to come back in half an hour so I could get something to eat first (cause the last time I ate was about 4 hours or so). I got myself a sandwhich.

We returned to the shop and the piercer asked me to come upstairs. Now I was really nervous and asked one of my friend to cheer me up and tell me about my wonderful life with Jonathan Davis, our son Nathan and our castle in Scotland. That helped a little to get the nerves down *S*. The piercer was really nice and kind and thought that was very funny. She explained o me what she was gonna do next and when she asked me to take a deep breath she would pierce me. She set out her stuff and asked me to take a deep breath. I could feel my friends were nervous too cause the moment was about to come. I took a deep breath and the needle went through my skin. It hurted, but not that much. It was more the shock, cause you dont know how much its going to hurt. I was relieved. The piercer got a ring, and I sat there on the chair with a long needle through my lip. My friend laughed a litte bit, because it looked so weird. The piercer said she was going to put a ring through it, and that it shouldnt hurt. Which it didn't.

She asked me to look in the mirror and if I was satisfied with it. I was, it looked great, though the ring was a bit big. But later she explained me they had to put a bigger ring in for the swelling and so that it can heal. She explained me how to take care of it and that I wasnt allowed to kiss anyone the next month. That didnt matter cause my b/f was in America anyway.

I paid the piercer and she gave me some pens and gave me the form back with the instructions.

One of my friends went home and said it looked really cool. I went shopping with the other friend cause I didnt feel like going home yet. It felt a bit funny, the lip ring, cause I wasnt used to it. And it felt like it was a HUGE ring. I had the feeling everybody was looking at me but I was being just paranoïd.

I got something to eat, which was quite difficult cause I wasnt used to eating with a ring through my lip.

Everybody on school was really suprised and though I got some good reactions I also got some negatives. It didnt really bother me, I was happy, satisfied and proud of my new lip ring.

After 4 weeks I went back to the shop and they replaced the ring for a smaller one. The girl wasnt sure if she recognised me and asked me when I had my lip pierced. I told her about the funny story my friend told me about Jonathan Davis and our castle. She remembered now. Everybody was really nice.

After another 4 weeks I went back to that shop to get my other side pierced. And again I was satisfied
