Again I've pierced my eyebrow for now the second time. If you've read my tongue piercing story then you should know I'm sort of rebellious. That story is under the name C.J.O's Pierced Princess. The reason I wanted my eyebrow pierced in the first place was because I liked my boyfriend's, and his friend's eyebrow piercings. Also because not very many girls at school have it done, which is cool, so it makes me feel special.

I pierced my eyebrow before Christmas break and my boyfriend told me to take it out so I wouldn't get in trouble. Stupid me I did. It closed over just fine. Since that I've attempted 3 other times and didn't succeed. Since that my mom said she'd take me to get it done and she would too. She took me on a Sunday when Art In Motion was supposed to be open but weren't. After that I think my mom gave up, she never took me back. They said I could have my eyebrow pierced. My boyfriend and I got the bright idea to do it over Spring Break.
I took the piercing needle from my dad's drawer, cleaned it, acquired my boyfriends hoop ring, cleaned that, and we did it. My boyfriend is deathly scared to pierce me so the night he said "Well your parents did say you could get it done so do ya wanna pierce it", he was all for doing it. Then he freaked out and told me to put it in as far as I could and he'd do the rest. I went in to the bathroom and did it and got stuck at the very end when the needle gets bigger, Callahan tried but said he couldn't do it. Now, we're standing in my garage and trying to get this needle in. It wasn't happening. He then told me that we should just get Funny to do it. Well Funny's the one that pierced my tongue once and I wasn't taking the needle out I was going to do it because I had come this far. Why give up right. I got it through and I was happy. Now the hard part Callahan had to put the hoop in and he didn't know how. I told him to just pull the needle out little by little and push the hoop through he did just that. That's when we came to our favorite part... putting the bead in. He had trouble trying to put it in when he had the damn ring so there was no way it was going to happen. Well he tried, I tried, and he tried finally he got it in and I couldn't have been happier, or in more pain. Callahan pulled on that ring with his life I swear. It burned and hurt until the next day because he pulled on it. I was so happy.
I'm taking good care of it, and I get the occasional crusties. It's normal but it hurts so badly when the crusts go through the hole it's one of the sharpest pains I've ever felt. Again it didn't hurt though, and neither did the piercing itself. I was using Bactine because I'm told it works well on facial piercings it helps.
Now was my favorite part... hiding it from my parents. It lasted for two days and they seen it. The funny thing is that the night they found out Callahan and I were in my room my mom was standing in there talking to us and she didn't notice it at all. When she left we laughed our asses off. Callahan needed me to go downstairs and tell my parents something so I did it. My dad stood right next to me and didn't notice, and then my mom finally said, "Where'd you get that done?" I just told her I did it myself. The only other thing she asked was when did I get it done and I told her I did it two days ago. Neither was mad at me except the day after my dad was a little pissed but they accept it now and I show it off like it's a part of me.
Since I pierced it I haven't been totally protective of it and I'm not using all the Bactine I just rinse it in the shower and when I want the crusts off. It feels good to take a shower and move it since it's always in the same position all the time because it crusts over at school. I'm not going to sit around and play with it because I know that will irritate it so it crusts. But I am extremely happy. I'm now happily pierced and couldn't be any happier. My piercings and I are forever and I'm happy. Seriously I do not suggest you pierce yourself it's a bad idea because mainly it's completely unsanitary so if you want something pierced it's better to pay fifty bucks and get it done right instead of getting an infection. I'm lucky because I don't have one but I wish I could have got my eyebrow done professionally though. If you have questions or comments about my piercing ask.
