After my first tattoo I knew that I would be getting a lot more done. I got my cartilage done with a large gauge, my tongue, and just now my eyebrow. Body modification can be very addictive. I've been interested with piercing and tattoos since I was about 10 years old, and I've been begging my mom for about that amount of time! It just always seemed very beautiful to me, a form of art. Even though a lot of my family looked down on it, I didn't care what they thought. It's my body and I'll do with it what I want! This happened just about an hour ago. I go to the same place for everything. Their great. I decided last night that I had to have my eyebrow pierced. I just got this urge for it. The feeling is very invigorating. Plus the results, I think are great. A shiny new piercing! I do however regret getting a tattoo. Another friend of mine feels the same way. I would say wait until your older for that. You can take piercings out, but tattoos are there for life! I learned that the hard way. My mom is pretty open to these things. She now knows all the people there, and trusts them. She's got a tattoo her self, (we got our first one's together), and she's planning on getting another. She's also been talking about getting her belly button pierced. I think that I'm becoming to be a bad influence on her! She took me there, even though it was storming like crazy today and we had to pull over a few times. We got there, drenched. But the adrenaline was rushing through my veins and I didn't care. We filled out the paper work and all that. Paid the 40$, talked for a minute, then went back to the piercing area.

She marked my eyebrow. I looked in the mirror to make sure it was where I wanted it. She said that it's on a slight angle so it would go naturally with the contour of my eye. Also that my body would probably have rejected it if she had done it straight.
She clamped my eyebrow and made sure that the dots lined up. She had already washed her hands and put on black gloves, which smelled good. I love the smell of hospitals! I closed my eyes and felt a slight pinch. It went through very easily, and painless I must say. As she was pulling the needle out the was putting the hoop in. She told me that she pierced them with hoops because their easier to clean, and would heal faster that way. I trust her so I didn't argue, (even though I had wanted a barbell, but in 4-6 weeks I can change it).
She told me that it was pierced perfectly, and gave me a mirror so that I could check it out. I love the way that it looks. It's a little sore now, but the pain is very dull, and not at all what I had asumed it would be.
I was told that I needed to clean it thorougly twice a day. By first using anti-bacterial soap, moving it around, then bactine. I just cleaned it for the first time, and it wasn't to easy. It's hard to move around. But I think It will be easier as I get used to it. I used a q-tip to put soapy water on the ring, then turned. I also put pure soap on there after, to make sure It was extra clean. Then I put some bactine cream on and moved it around again. I left some on there because it's helping with the pain. It's a little swollen, but I'm very happy that I did it.
It looks great! Check the stories and pictures on this site first. Their very helpful! Also never take advice from other people who aren't professionals. Also I wouldn't try to pierce it your self. I was told that that can be very dangerous. Talk to your parents. Discuss that you would rather them take you, then going to a dirty place and getting a possible deadly infection.Believe me they usually understand. They were young once too, believe it or not. And if worse come to worse wait until your 18! If anyone has any questions for me about anything please e-mail them to the address above. Also I'm looking for some information on the Labret. That will be my next piercing. Soon I hope. I'll post my story on here. Also look for my pictures, I'm sending them very soon! I'd love to be of some help! Good luck! I'd love to hear your success stories, it would make me feel ever-so special, heh.
