It was a dark and stormy night...

OK not really but yeah anyways.

Out of the blue one day, when I was 15, my sister and I decided that we wanted to get something pierced. Which was cool with me I like piercings I think they're totally hot!!

Well, up until then all I had were earrings, and I did all those by myself.. I never had any problems with them (but that doesn't mean you should go off and pierce yourself I just happened to luck out I wouldn't ever recommend that you ever pierce yourself), but that's off the subject...

Well, my sister and I decided that we wanted to get our eyebrows pierced and we didn't trust ourselves with a needle that close to our eyes. Therefore we decided to get somebody that knew what they were doing to do it for us.

My cousin had enough piercings to set off an alarm (and the same thing goes for me now), and she never did her own piercings she always had them professionally done. We asked her where a good place to go was and she told us "The Wall", which is a great place honestly very professional work place, so it was a road trip for a whole 2 miles!

Well, when we got there I decided I wanted to look around and see how the place looked to see if it was clean or not, which to this day I still don't know why I did that because I did my ears in my bathroom.

They had lots of barbells and other types of jewelry. I really liked most of the jewelry, too bad I didn't get to pick out the barbell they used but hey it's cool I got more then enough now.

The room where they did all of the piercings looked really clean, so I decided to go ahead with it.

We went up to tell the guys what we wanted done and they asked for our id's and I was only 15 and she was 16 and we didn't have our Mom with us, so we had to go and get her, so yeah I learned really quick one of the down sides of being a minor...

So we came back up with our Mom and we paid the men and told them what we wanted done again, and my sister wanted me to go first because she was scared which is OK because this was her first piercing ever so I gladly went first.

After we paid them we went into the room and I sat down and waited while the guy got everything ready for us and he opened everything freshly before our eyes!

Nothing that he was going to us looked used at all, which was a plus because I personally don't want to AIDS or something.

Then the guy took a purple marker drew two dots on my eyebrow handed me a mirror and asked me if that's where I wanted to be pierced.

It looked good to me, so I said get on with it and he cleaned my eyebrow up and stuck a cork under my eyebrow and told me to breath in and breath out and without knowing anything he was done!! Didn't hurt at all (I'm not saying it won't hurt you, everybody's body is different)! It bled a little, but hey it was on my face it's going to happen.

Then my sister sat down and he marked her eyebrow, well she liked where he put it also. Then he told her the same thing he told me with the breathing and things and she was surprised that it didn't hurt her at all.

When he was done some of the blood from her piercing dripped down into her eye.

It scared her a little but the guy cleaned it up and it wasn't really all that big of a deal.

Then she went over to the mirror and yelled "IT'S PURPLE!", and I was like "dude that's the marker!". She didn't think it was too funny...

Well, he gave all the information about cleaning and caring, and then he gave us something (I forgot what it was) to clean our eyebrows with every night to keep it from infections and/or pain.

Well, I went by what he said to the last word, and I didn't have any problems except with those people that walked up to me and said "does it hurt when I do this" and pulled on it!

My sister on the other hand decided that she didn't need to do that, because she never has problems with infections, and she's safe, and went about her own ways with it. NOT a very smart move on her part, but hey it was her choice and her money to waste..

Well, needless to say 3 years later I still have my eyebrow piercing and it's still looking good,

and she's jealous about it everyday.

The moral of this story is take care of your piercings they'll end up looking nice, and don't worry it's just the marker!
