Well its comming up to my b-day and I want a new piercing. They are addictive or at least I tend to think so.. Now came the normal what to get? I have thought to myself and I usually get the piercings for a reason. Whatever they might be are for me to know not for others but I do have to kinda justify to myself. I have done many stupid things in my life and thats why I don't feel like doing too many more stupid things.
Well my first choice was actually a septum piercing but at the time I was having a great deal of problems with my nose and it bleeding for hours at a time. So that idea was scratched. Then came the idea for my labret.. I talked to quite a few people and the idea was short lived.. So again to the thinking of what to get as it was less then a week from my b-day now. Well I had my spare 3/8" barbell from my original eyebrow piercing and all I had to do was get it sterilized and I could use it..right?
So I talked with a trusted friend of mine and I decided on a second eyebrow piercing. Now was I to get it in my right again or this time in my left. I then took to a mirror to help me decide. The left didn't look so bad but the right one looked great. That made up my mind. I contacted my normal piercist Les and told her what I wanted.. So we booked my appointment and I waited to two days to the actual date.
Now the day is here and I get home from work.. Night shift, grab a quick shower n try to sleep, but can't. Finally I doze off enough and slept for about 2 hours when my alarm went off. I got myself up and had another quick shower to wake myself right up and a bite to eat. Now it was time to go and get my newest mod. I got there before my time but thats ok I like to be there early. I sat and talked with Will the owner as Les had just finished another customer. The typical chit chat persued and then it came time. I asked Les if we could use my old barbell and she quickly replied no that we couldn't as it would take awhile to sterilize it and it was not something that she would do.
No problems with that I thought I would ask. Ok her it goes again the usual talk about aftercare, as she has to tell you everytime you get pierced and the normal conversation between us about why I was getting another piercing. Out came the marker and put the dots on.. they were a little off so we fixed them. Now this one I wanted deeper then the other so I made sure that she knew this and would make the appropriate adjustments. She did and on goes the clamp, this time I felt it as it was on a good chunk of skin and out came the needle. now the breathing and exhale. In goes the needle and she gets ready to put in the barbell, and then the fun part in out little conversation she had gone and grabed a CBR and I didn't want that. So now I have this huge needle in my eyebrow and no barbell I told her not to worry and just go and grab a barbell so that we could put it in.
Off she went and got a barbell I was laughing and joking the whole time with her as this was the fifth hole she had put in me. Well in goes the barbell and again no blood no nothing. It was great so I went out and paid and sat and talked with both Will and Les about what other plans I had, and what new mods that they have gotten done in the past little while since I had been in. Well all was great and I was off. This time it took less then a week for all the crusties to go away and no problems at all. No migration or anything the only thing was I wanted to make it more noticable but for now it was great.. For anyone that wants a relatively painless mod and one that looks good on alot of people I would suggest this piercing. Quick, simple and very easy to heal and if you really don't like it then you can take it out and it hardly leaves a mark.. or at least for the people i know that took thiers out it doesn't.Thanks for reading and hope all your mods go as great as mine. Feel free to ask and questions if you have any.
