I first wanted my eyebrow pierced when I had seen lots of pictures in magazines and I had seen that guy from staind and I thought they looked really cool. so I asked my mom and she said I don't know ask your father. so I did and he said ok but don't go mad on piercings. I waited till it was a 6 week holiday so it will be healed up in time so I can take it out when I go to school as no piercings are allowed to be worn. I went straight after school with my mate Greg.
I had butterflies in my stomach because it was going to be my first piercing. I walked in and said how much is it for a eyebrow piercing he said £15 so I said ok I will have that done. I had to wait in the waiting room for about 4 minutes then he called me through. I had to sit on a very small chair and he said relax your eyebrow so I did and he put on these really cold clamps, he then pushed a very big needle through and I thought that did not hurt at all. Then he put in the ring then I paid up and walked out.
The only thing that I wish he had done that he did not was I would liked to have had some advise on cleaning it. I had to work out my self-how to clean it but I was doing it with the wrong stuff I was using surgical spirit .It felt really weird and hot. I found it really hard to get on my T-shirt for going out, as I did not want to hit it I had to stretch the collar just so I did not hit it. After 2 weeks I thought the ring did not look that good. So I did the stupidest thing I could have done I took it out and tried to put in a barbell. I thought that it was healed up and I could put in the barbell in that I wanted in from the start but then I could not do it so I was really p*ssed off and my mom phoned up the tattoo parlor that I got it done and he said he can't do anything because he is starting a 5 hour tattoo.
So I had to wait 3 days and my mom drove me down to "grin and bear it", I got it done in a different place about 5mm away from the last pierced holes. I then only had 4 weeks for it to heal up. So I thought it would be ok. I went to play basketball down at my local club. After 4 hours playing I was going to go back home to play on my Playstation so I was walking out and my friends shouted heads up and I looked round and the ball hit me in the face. The ball had torn my new eyebrow piercing it was bleeding everywhere. I went to the hospital and got 8 stitches, that hurt more than getting the piercing it's self. I still wanted to get it done again so I did on the other eyebrow, which is my right eyebrow. When I had to go back to school after the four weeks were up I could tell it was not healed up enough to take it out so I left it in and put a flesh colored plaster over it. I thought that this would be ok, so I went to school the next day and I got asked if I had my eyebrow pierced yes I said and they were all like cool did it hurt and the usual stuff.
I got in the hall where we all meet to got to our classes and a teacher called Mr. smith he is a total twat he made me take it out there and then in front of everyone and it was bleeding all over my face and shirt. I told my mom when I got home and she phoned him up and asked him about it and now we get to sough him. So now I have my ears pierced and no one has said anything about that yet. My advice is never to take it out when it is still healing because you will have to get it done again if you have the money.
Other people have had their eyebrows pierced for a few weeks and they have been ok to take it in and out but it does cause them some pain to get them in. My next piercing is going to be my eyebrow again by I will get it done three times one with a PTFE barbell and the other with a surgical steal one and with a ring.
