I was never really into piercing until I met my girlfriend Sarah. She got me into it and now I have 4. My eyebrow was my first; I got it done about a month ago at Artistic Impressions. I also have 3 earrings I let Sarah pierce, they hurt like a bitch cuz she didn't no what she was doing.

Studio Artistic Impressions Location St. Catharines, Ontario My parents let me do whatever I want with my body, they don't like it but they tell me its my body and I can do whatever I want with it, so I'm lucky that way. My dad has more problems with it then my mom, he won't take me to get my tongue pierced cuz he really doesn't want me to get it done, so I'm gonna have to talk my mom into taking me. It wont be to hard though, she does whatever I want.
I don't have many friends with any kinds of body mods, they're the kind of people who don't do anything wrong and would never get anything pierced, so I'm gonna stand out among my friends when I go back to school in September. Anyways, on to my piercing.
I didn't get any sleep the night before, I wasn't nervous or anything. I just wasn't tired. So at about 6 or 7 in the morning I went out with my dad and on our way back we stored at AI, it was about 11:50 so we had to wait for 10 minutes for them to open. 10 minutes later we walked in the place, my dad said I wanted my eyebrow pierced and they told us to wait for the piercer to sterilize everything. They didn't get my dad to sign any papers, which I thought was strange.
AI is a great place, its clean and the people are friendly, my piercer (I think her name was Jodi but I dunno) told me exactly what she was doing and took all of her equipment out of sterile packages and used latex gloves, I didn't notice if she used more then one pair but I think so. She was very nice.
I don't really remember exactly what she did, probly cuz the lack of sleep. I guess the first thing she did was clean my eyebrow and mark where she was gonna pierce it, she handed me a mirror and I told her that the placement was ok.
She then took out the clamps and put them on her finger to show me they didn't hurt, which they didn't. People say they hurt but I barely felt them. Then she got the needle and stuck it though my eyebrow.
It didn't really hurt that much, obviously there is some pain getting a needle shoved though your skin but it was only a little pinch. She left the needle in for a minute as she got the ring. Putting in the ring was the most painful part of the whole process, it wasn't unbearable or anything, but more painful then getting it pierced.
After she put in the ring in she clamped the ball on and that was it. She gave me my aftercare sheet, told me things to do and that was it. I went out front and paid my $35
When I got to the car I looked in the mirror, it didn't bleed or swell at all, it looked like I'd had it all my life.
My dad didn't really like it but he's used to it now, my mom said it looks good and she liked it. Or at least she said she did. I think I scared my nieces and my nephew, they asked me questions about it. My sisters didn't say too much, the first thing Angie said to me was "What do u have in your face??" Not to many of my friends have seen it yet cuz their queers and I don't hang out with them. They'll see when school starts.
For the first few weeks I washed it 3 times a day but that got annoying after a while so its only once or twice a day now. I wash it with Savlon First Aid Cream, Lever 2000 antibacterial soap and Epsom Salt. It seems to be healing great, there hasn't been a lot of pus or anything coming out, so it hasn't been infected.
At first I was a bit disappointed because the ring was a bit small and not really noticeable, but now its ok cuz I'm gonna get another bigger one beside it. After another eyebrow and tongue I dunno what I'm gonna get done, I was thinking of a tattoo but ill wait cuz that permanent, if I get tired of piercings I can just take them out.
I'm definatly gonna go back to AI for anything I do, it's a great place and I would recommend it to anyone. Getting your eyebrow pierced doesn't hurt, my ears hurt a lot more. I'd definatly recommend it.
