BEFORE MY EXPERIENCE:

I had been wanting my eyebrow pierced ever since I had gotten my tattoo in April. So I asked my mom and surprisinly she was all for it. She actually said she thought it would look cute. I was psyched. We waited about a week and then we started to look around. I decided not to go to the place where I got my tattoo because it was not too clean and my tattoo is faded already and I just got it 6 months ago. We decided on Bay City. My mom got her first tattoo there and it was great, and clean.

THE DAY OF MY EXPERIENCE:

It was during the summer, June 28th to be exact. It was pretty hot that day and I was nervous, I had some butterflies. Well I lived about 28 miles away from the piercing place and I had time to recooperate on the way there. I went in and it was clean, my mom was right. I was not as nervous because of the cleaness. The guy who was gonna do my piercing was named Stubb cause he had a wooden leg. He took me into a room which had a chair and it looked like a doctor's office. He made sure to show me that he took everything out of its original package and that everything was steralized. I was so relaxed now knowing that everything was clean. He was asking me questions and things and then I asked him if it was gonna hurt. He said no. I was so excited when he said that LOL!! He them put this stuff on my eyebrow that looked like blood. It was a steralizer stuff I forget what it is called. The he clamped my eyebrow which was a little pinch (worse then the piercing I might add) the the needle was threw, I did not even feel it. I was like your done? He was like yep, was not so bad was it? It really was not. I did not feel a thing. It was better then your ear being pierced. So he told me all my cleaning instructions which was funny cause he started to tell me and was like whoops thats for a tattoo. I was like WHAT??? The place where I got my tattoo NEVER told me that. I was shocked I told him where I went and he was like that is why. So then he told me my proper care instructions, and even told me what cream I could put on it. He said no vasalines though cause it might clog the hole.

AFTER MY PIERCING:

It has been 3 months now and I absolutely love my eyebrow ring. It got a little infected once cause I got it caught in my hair brush and ripped it a little (silly me)! But as of that it is awesome! The fun part is shopping for eyebrow rings and barbells. There are so many. There are glow in the dark and dice and anything you can think of.

So I would like to say to everyone thinking about getting your eyebrow pierced DO IT!! First off though you should find a good sanitary place to go. You do not want a dirty place to go cause if you are not comfortable it will hurt. You want to be relaxed. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me@ Charity1983@hotmail.com, or you can IM me my screen name is LiLsh0rty2o0o. I will be happy to answer all your questions and give you any advice or tips. I also have my tongue pierced and if you have any questions about that experience just give me a holler. If you have anything pierced like lip, nose, labret, belly button, or pocketing, please e-mail me to compare pain. I would be interested.

P.S. One more thing I failed to mention. If they give you a choice of having a barbell or ring to be pierced with, pick the ring. The barbell is more prone to infection at first. And if you get the ring make sure you turn it by the ball not the ring itself so you don't get germs inside the piercing. It is normal to have a little puss but if it occurs more then a month use paroxide for a few days and it should go away. If it does not, you should call the place that pierced your eyebrw and have them take a look at it. The thing that sucks is if it doesn't heal then they will tell you to take it out, but that only happens with like 1 in 1000 people so you shouldn't have to worry. Sorry I am babling now, but I absolutely cannot think of anything else to write and they said mine was too short to be entered. If I failed to mention anything and you have questions feel free to IM or E-MAIL me.
