I asked my mom a year ago if I could get my eyebrow pierced when I noticed a lot of people with it pierced and I thought it looked really cool. My mom said no straight away as she doesn't like piercings. So I persisted for a year and kept going on and on at her.

She finally gave in and said I could have it done about four months ago as she figured it was my body and said as long as I paid for it it was alright to get it done.

So I decided to wait until we broke up for summer holiday at schol as you're not allowed non lobe piercings in my school. So after waiting for what seemed like forever it was finally the end of the school year. I went home straight from school and had something to eat as I heard it helped. I got changed and went down to the piercing place which was only about five minutes away in car with my sister who is twenty seven and my mom.

My mom was more nervous than me when we eventually got there. So the man who was to perform the procedure came up to us and asked us a few questions and my mom asked how long I could keep it out for before it closed up and he said his tongue closed up within an hour and that the eyebrow was also a fast healing place like the tungue. After he had said that my mom said that I couldn't have it done if I had to take it out after six weeks and she said that I wasn't to waist fifty pounds for something I couldn't keep.

So I went home and thought about it and said to my mom what if I get it pierced with a silver bar then it would be cheaper and I wouldn't be waisting as much money as it was only twenty five pound to get it pierced with silver. She said that she'd take me the next day (yesterday) to get it done. So We went to th epiercing place around

3 o'clock and the man recognised me so we sat down and waited and filled out forms. There was only one person in front of me so we were in and out quite quick which I was thankfull for.

So the man came and sat beside me and asked which side do you want pierced and I said my right and then he asked what I wanted it pierced with and I said a bar but he said that the ring was actually better to get pierced with because it is easier to turn and it wont get stuck. So I said allright I'll get it done with a ring. He then showed me into the next room and sat me down on a big leather chair and laid my head back.

My heart was pounding and my hands were shaking so I put my hands under my legs to steady them. He then put a pen mark an my eyebrow and said is that ok so I looked in the mirror behind me and said yes. He then sat me back down and tilted my head and put a paper towel over my eye. He poured some kind of solution on my eyerow and said not to get it in my eye because it would sting.

He then took out the clamp and put it on and I didn't feel a thing. He then said that I would feel a prick and I opened my eyes and saw him pick up a needle so I shut them again. I then felt a sharp prick and then him taking the needle out. He said that the worst part was over and my imediate reaction was it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. He then said this is the trickiest part and put the ring in. I felt that and hurt a little but not too much. He then screwed the ball on the ring quite fast and it was over. From him putting the clamp on and finishing the piercing it only took about thirty seconds.

Now my eyebrow looks cool and you should definately get it done if you're thinking about it because beleve me you will be surprised with how much it doesn't hurt and if I can get it done anybody can. It has been fine so far but it starting to get a bit sore now but I just keep cleaning it with salt water and anti septic and it feels a lot better. It hasn't swolen or anything yet it's just a little bit red. So if you're thinking about getting it done or have any questions please e-mail me, I have put my e-mail on this experience.
