My second tongue piercing - something I never thought I'd get!
At A Glance Author Maz Contact Maz@bme.anon When Six months ago Artist Bob Studio Primal Urge Location Perth, WA I claimed my vertical hood piercing to be the last, then I took out my eyebrow and then decided what the hell why not a second tongue piercing! I was looking at multiple tongue piercing photos on here and I just thought it'd be awesome to have a second one, plus I wanted more colours.
So I made the booking to get it done, my friend was meant to get her first tongue piercing as a birthday present from me but her boss wouldn't let her so it was just me and boy was I excited!
Was chatting to a friend of mine who I got my first tongue and eyebrow done with and she wanted in, she ended up deciding on getting her nipple done. My eyes were watering just thinking about getting a nipple piercing, the idea just scares the crap out of me, though I'd really love one but I could never go through with it, unless someone paid alot. And I mean alot, so I rang up Primal Urge and got her put in place of my friend who couldn't get her piercing.
Went to the city at lunchtime, had some food so I wasn't on an empty stomach because otherwise I'd be sick after the piercing. I was with three other friends, hour after lunch met up with m mate who was getting her nipple done then we head to Primal! Was so excited, my friends were getting scared because they think tongue piercing would hurt so much and I'm there jumping around all happy and wanting it done.
Turned up picked, filled out the form and picked the free acrylic ball I wanted. I got a black and white pill, still haven't used it yet, my mate picked out her barbell for her nipple and we sat down and waited. 10 minutes later I was taken in, he took out my other barbell and marked where the second one would go. It was going behind the one I had, but because I have a medium/short tongue he had to mark it differently underneath because the line of skin you can't pierce ended right where my first piercing was so it's slightly crooked underneath but perfect on top, I was so happy with that because when he said it's going to be crooked I was thinking oh crap I don't want that but then we said it'd only be crooked underneath and even so you can hardly that it is when I flip my tongue back.
So I washed my mouth with the mouthwash for 30seconds and damn does that stuff burn, then I sat back on the bench with my head turned to the side and he prepared the tools, wiped my tongue so it was dry and clamped my tongue. What's annoying though is they talk to you when you have to keep your tongue out or it's clamped and you sound like a complete idiot.
So he started the piercing, which was so damn slow because he had to make sure he didn't hit that line of skin so it felt like forever, Atleast it wasn't really painful though but it did suck that it was done so slow. So the piercing was done and he put in the barbell and the second one, I needed water straight away though because I was starting to get the hot flushes so I gulped that down and had another. He went over the what to do and what not to do, which I knew already but he went over it again anyway then I thanked him and came out of the room and stuck my tongue out at my friends, I was so proud of myself for getting it, not sure why but I just was! My mate was up next and she was taken straight through so I sat down and sipped on my water and played with my new toy. She came out about 20 minutes later, she said it absolutely killed going through but looks hot! I still wont get one though.
It felt so weird having two barbells but I loved it. Plus what I was really happy with, it hardly swelled up and I could eat perfectly fine! I'm guessing it was because I was used to eating with a barbell in my mouth but yeah it was awesome, I really wasn't looking forward to soup and miniature pieces of food. I was amazed when I ate a sandwich with no troubles or pain.
As soon as 2 weeks had passed I straight away changed the barbells to the smaller ones and went out and bought some awesome different coloured balls. I've got sparkle green, sparkle purple, pink, and pinky/orange n white striped balls, looks so cool and they're all UV too so my mouth glows in the clubs.
I'll never regret getting these piercings they're so awesome! GO GET THEM!!!
