fast healing tongue! |

Okay, let first start by saying, I got my tongue pierce about 7 months ago, I just never thought of sending it in because its been so long, but i thought I'd try. So, Im going to try my best to remember.Well, I have always loved the way tongue piercings looked. Always. The first time I ever saw it on anyone I knew was Dec. 99. I thought she was the kewlest person. I had to have one. The next April I asked my grandmother if I could get it, but she said no. Then I asked my grandfather, and he said sure! I was soo happy. Now all I had to do was get some money up to get it. I got the money pretty easily, and then one Friday in May, right after school, me and a friend went down to my favorite piercing place where i got my lip pierced. The piercer there, Gre-gory, is the best I have been to yet, and he is the nicest by far aswell.
During school on that friday, I was really nervous, and I couldn't really pay attention in any of my classes. I told all my friends, well, most, some I wanted to surprise on the Monday, that I was going up to get it done. Most of them thought I was crazy(that was when not everybody and their dog and their tongue pierced, lol), but I didn't care. So after school we went down to the piercer. When we got there, I thought I was going to be sick, luckily I wasn't, lol. He told me to sit in the chair an to relax and breath. He got out the needle, clamps, barbell, and whatever else you need to pierce a tongue. He clamped my tongue, it hurt, but not very bad at all, then came the needle. Now everyone on BME says that getting their tongue pierced was one of the most painless things you can get pierced, so I wasnt that worried about the pain. All of them were right, it didnt hurt at all. Well, maybe just for like 2 seconds when the needle was going through my tongue. Then he put the bellbar in, made the balls really tight, and then took the clamp off. He told me how to take care of it, just rinse your mouth out with salt and water after you drink, eat, smoke, or anything like that. THen he told me what foods would be easy and good to eat while it was healing, and then he told me what food are hard to eat and bad to eat and what foods to stay away from while it was healing. Then he asked me if I had any questions, which I didn't because he explained everything so well! The only thing I did ask him was if I could see it. He said of course, and so I looked at, I loved it soo much! Then I payed him the $65 and then I left. The next Monday, when I showed everyone, everyone thought it was the kewlest thing. They all asked me if if hurt, and I said of course not! I did what the piercer told me to, how to clean it and eveything like that, and by the following Tuesday, the swelling was totally gone, and it didnt hurt at all, and I could eat food again!! YAY!!
Since than I have gotten a few other things pierced, includung my eyebrow, rook, and tongue again! I will write them, and send them to BME as soon as I can. I am also planning on getting my nipples, cartilage, another tongue, a venom, and my tongue web pierced, and maybe a few other things like my lobes, getting my lip repierced, another eyebrow, and some other stuff.
So, I had a VERY good experience, the only thing I would change about it is that i would have gotten it way before May! I love it soo much. I love playing with it, its so fun! lol. If your thinking about getting your tongue pierced, which I would guess you are if your reading this, GET IT DONE!!! Its well worth the little pain and the money!
If anyone in the Toronto area is looking for a good place to get pierced, go to Abstract Arts on Queen St. Abstract Arts is very clean, the people there are very nice, and they are not very expensive!! By far the best place I have been to!
Also, if anyone has any questions, feel free to email me at no_one_important@hotmail.com. I love getting emails! It makes me feel important. lol. Bye!
Oh yeah, i forgot, one other thing, everyone, go read my other experience, I forget what its called, but its in the lip section, NOW!! hehe, just kidding, you dont have to if you dont want to :( hehe... BYE!!
