So this is my story of my lobes. Well first I had my ear pierced when I was 6 years old and for the past few years I never really put anything in it. Maybe once and awhile id stick something in there, but most of the time it'd be empty. As I grew older I noticed many of my friends with stretched ear lobes, and to tell you the truth I did not like the idea of that at all at first. But after awhile I got curious about stretched lobes, and was really considering doing it myself. So I went to my local tattoo and piercing parlor and asked them a load of questions about stretched ears and really did my homework on it, as you should to if you are thinking about stretching your lobes, better safe then sorry right. So I was totally convinced that this is what I wanted to do at the time, but only having one ear pierced and being low on cash I resorted to a safety pin for my other ear, cause having one stretched ear just looks funny. I did all the sterilization for the safety pin as you should always do to avoid infection.

I had both of my ears pierced finally and couldn't wait to start stretching, literally, I went out that day and bought a pare of 6g tapers and began stretching that day. I took it slow, each day pushing it in a bit more at a time, to avoid ripping my lobe. You don't have to do it this way, depending on how you handle pain and if you want healthy lobes or not. The pain was nothing extremely painful, it was normal. After about 5 or 6 days I had my ears from a 18g up to a 6g. But I was foolish and didn't clean them everyday like I should have and my left ear got badly infected and swollen. I immediately went to the doctors telling him the problem, also telling him taking out these tapers just wasn't an option. He gave me some medication and my very swollen red ear got better in about 4 to 5 days.

After the swelling went down, my ears just didn't seem big enough to me and I made the decision of beginning a 2nd stretch. I went back to my local parlor and purchased some 0g tapers, I preferred the spiral ones because they we're easier to sleep with. I went right home and began my second stretch, this was a lot bigger taper then the first so I was a little more cautious. Also I was now using salt water to avoid infection, you should to if your stretching, I also found out that stretching your ears after taking a hot shower works a lot better and is a lot easier, this cut my time in half for getting these 0g tappers all the way through my ear. I got it in, in about 3 to 4 days, and put my sweet Cadillac plugs that I bought in. after about 2 weeks of having these plugs i began to know what people were talking about when them said your ears would start to smell, and did they ever. nothing big tho, just wash them everyday or every other day in the shower and you'll be fin e.

I was happy with my new ears for about 2 months and then realized I wanted bigger ears again, but was not looking forward to the painful stretch to get them that way, I'm sure no one does. I decided I wanted them to a half inch. That seemed big enough to me. I then again went out and bought half inch tapers, along with half inch tunnels with flare. these seemed huge to me and had no idea how I would get these things in my ears. This stretch was probably the most painful one I had to do, although I think I rushed in and pushed a little hard cause my lobes did start to bleed a bit, your lobes should never bleed in order for a good stretch by the way. So I got the taper all the way though, I was so happy I got to put my sweet new big tunnels in, I go to put them in and they wouldn't fit, I was so disappointed. I had to wait for about a week or two before I could go out and buy new sweet chrome tunnels, which look amazing by the way. I'm currently at a half inch now, which I'm e xtremely happy with, but I'm considering going for a full inch in the near future. Then I think I'm done, who knows. Hope you enjoyed my story and could take some advice.
