During my freshman year of high school I gained a new friend named Jennifer. Jennifer had her ears stretched to a 4, and I thought they were the coolest ever. I started to think about it, and decided I wanted to stretch my ears too. I knew my Mother wouldn't approve, but I convinced myself I would "stay small". For Christmas, Jennifer got me a pair of size 14 pink pinchers. I in turn bought her a pair of size 2 plaid pinchers. I tried and tried to get mine in, but just couldn't. I continues to try in every class, and finally in fourth period I got the suckers in. I was so proud of myself. About three weeks later I convinced my Mom to let me buy a pair of clear 12's. I got them in later that night, surprised at how little they hurt going in and afterward. Later in the month I went to a 10.

I snuck off one night at the mall and bought a pair of black size 8 pinchers and plugs. My Mom had instructed me that I was not to go any bigger, but of course I didn't listen. A few days later, the night before I went with the band on a trip to Disney World, I shoved the pinchers into my ears, and after multiple painful tries I got them in. It hurt, but I didn't really worry about it.
Around the third day in Disney, I woke up and noticed one of my pinchers were missing. I went into the bathroom and was shocked to see my ear, puffy and swollen, with blood down the side of my shirt. I then began to panic. I searched frantically for the earring, waking up the girl in the bed next to me. She then preceded to drag me into the bathroom to "clean" my ear. I was horrified! I escaped, so all she managed to do was swipe at it with a bit of toilet tissue. I then took an alcohol wipe and squeezed my ear, which bled a lot but then felt better. I took out my other earring, and at first the hole looked fine. I turned around to get another wipe and when I looked back towards the mirror I saw a monster blood clot about to fall from my ear. I cleaned that up and went down to the tiny store of the hotel to buy some Neosporin, which I swear saved my life that trip.
I went back home, told my Mom the story and she told me I deserved it, none to my surprise. I then convinced myself I would never stretch my lobes again. That worked for a while, and then about a month later I got back into it. First with the 14's, next day the 12's, later that night the 10's, and then about a week later we went on vacation to Virginia. I DO NOT advise stretching 3 sizes in 2 days, I was obviously stupid. Then while in Virginia I decided to put more than one earring in each ear. Genius plan, huh? Because I was afraid of the 8's, they were cursed to me. I put the 14 and 12 together, then the 14 and 10. A few days later I bought a pair of size 6 yellow tapers. I got them in fully in about two days. Then around two weeks later I pulled the multiple earring bit again. We were back in Virginia, and at the same mall I bought multiple packs of size 2 earrings. One of them was a glass swirly blue and green pair. A few weeks later I bought a pair exactly like them in size 0. I was considering not doing it, but some girl named Brittany convinced me to do it. Later that night I put them in with little difficulty. Again, I don't advise this at all. In the course of a summer I went from a size 14 to 0. Definitely not smart. I am extremely lucky my holes look the way they do now.
After hitting size 0 I was relatively happy for a while, and stretched to double 0 in about four months. I used the same swirly earring trick, but none-the-less my Mom found out anyway. I now have waited about six months to stretch to a 7/16". This last time I used electrical tape, which worked amazingly. I took a pair of metal double 0 plugs and wrapped them in the morning and at night with a single wrap of electrical tape, adding a wrap every time. The pain was practically non existent, and within four wraps I was in the 7/16". My goal is 1/2", but who knows! I highly recommend using vitamin E, it works wonders. I hope you have benefited somewhat from reading this, and happy stretching!
