So this is my little tale about my ears.

A weeks back I decided to stretch my ear, funny how the thought came into my head, I had a set of tapers and had started stretching my tongue piercing and one of my friends asked me why I had not stretched my ears.

So I decided I would do 1 ear and see how it goes. I decided to start on my left ear as I had already had an old piercing that had grown over at the back.

As quick as a flash I had already poked the needle through and was on my way, I left the needle in for a few minutes while I looked for the Vaseline to lube up the tapers.

I sat down in front of a small mirror so I could see what I was doing and began pushing the 14g taper through. Went straight through with out any force, so I decided to put the 12g through, but then a problem came up where was the 12g taper? After looking everywhere for it I decided to push ahead with stretching and just put the 10g in. A little bit of tingling but other than that was all good.

So being adventurous and having a high pain tolerance (not always a good thing) I decided to push through the 8g put lube on it and began sliding it in now was starting to resist going in but I kept going until it was right through. I decided to give it a rest for a little bit and have something to eat, by this point it was starting to ache but not unbearable.

About 45min later I decided to go up another gauge so I got out the 6g slid it through was a bit of stinging but nothing major still, so I decide to press on and pushed the 4g through, oh god it really was stinging now so I let it rest for a bit, my ear was starting to swell a bit but I was still feeling good musty of been the adrenaline rush from it all.

Next came the 2g I was worried about this 1 just looking at it seemed scary that I was going push something that thick through my ear, I took a deep breath and started pushing it through, OMG a flash of pain shot through my body, I looked into the mirror and noticed only had to push another 2mm of the taper through and I was home free, Or was I?.

Finally I got the 2g through and I felt so achy but at the same time totally awesome that I got to 2g, I decided to leave it I felt my ear had suffered enough punishment, next day I had to go to work I still hat the taper in held by the two rubber rings since I didn't have a plug to put in.

That night I was sitting at my computer and I saw the 0g taper out the corner of my eye, and first thing I thought was how good it would be having a 0g stretch. Quick as a flash I grabbed the Vaseline & shoved the 0g through, it hurt so bad but I didn't care I just wanted it in after about 20mins of slowly working the taper through was done a 0g stretch, the next day I went into the city and bought a tunnel unfortunately I didn't know not to but a double flared tunnel & how fun that was to get in. eventually I got it in after stretching my ear a little bit by pulling the taper down and got it in hooray looks awesome now.

A few days ago I decided to stench my right ear so a week before I started I pierced my ear at 14g I decided the bigger the better and as its quiet hard to get piecing needles that are any bigger *Sigh*, so the piercing went well, apart from a bit of blood, I forgot to mentions it was a DIY job on my ear. I let it heal while I ordered two surgical steel tunnels off EBay. They arrived yesterday (30/5/08) so I decided since I managed to get to 0g from 16g in a few hours id do the same again. All went well even got the tunnel in, its still aching & swollen like a balloon and the hole well it looks more like a smiling grin, and there was quiet a lot of bleeding involved mostly from pushing the 0g taper through and specially putting the tunnel in. all in all the whole experience was a major learning curb for me to be remembered for when ever someone asks me for advice about stretching piercing

Anyway to wrap this up, listen to professional piercers and don't skip gauges its all good me telling you this but if you don't you will see the bad effects of this.
