Artist myself
Well here goes, my story of how I got these, quote, "beautiful stretched lobes" hope that it's a helpful or at least interesting story for any of you hoping for something new. Just like I was approximately 6 months ago.

For years I have been ever so interested in body modification, it all started with a navel piercing at 14. After years of being bored with this I went in for a new piercing, originally I had my mind set on an "anti-eyebrow" but at 17 they didn't advise I do that as my face still was growing & convinced me to find something else, so I spontaneously ended up with a lip piercing.

After a few months with this piercing I realized it really didn't feel like me (and eventually took it out), I had recently started dating a guy with ears at 3/4 of an inch and fell in love with the idea. All of his wonderful body modifications made my interest grown to obsession and I knew I had to do something, I knew I wanted attractive gauged ears just like him :) so I did some researching (I always research, I'm kind of a geek) and eventually decided to start my journey.(and what a wonderful journey it became)

I started by putting in some old belly rings and eventually got a pair of 12gaude captive rings, these hurt a bit but looked great. I had found one odd 8 gauge taper of a friends and gradually put that in, prior to the captive rinds, so when I went to the 8 gauge soon after the one ear went through like butter, and the other, well that's another story. It was quite the struggle to make it fit.. but after so yelps and an "okay just push it" I ended up with a very swollen right ear. Which by the way, wasn't all bad, I could still sleep on my left side. When finally it healed my boy went and bought me two more pairs of stretchers 6's and 4's. Maybe it was too soon but I went for the 6 and it wasn't to bad, they went pretty easily and didn't cause much trouble at all.

Continuing on with the stretching I went to a 6 to a 4 and so on, each stretch like a new piercing, satisfying my hunger to 'mod'. Not having any difficulties or issues until when stretching to a 0. I had been buying my tapers just from those mall kiosks and all I could really afford were the cheap plastic ones (which aren't totally accurate for size) so the "2" which I had was somewhere between a 4 and 2 (closer to a 4) and the zero I got was just, just, under a zero, so I figured 'hey, no problem' really it would be just like one size. Well I was wrong, it wasn't, it too a heck of a lot to get them in and I ended up with horrible infected ears...INVEST IN PROPER STRETCHERS!!

When weeks past and they were still peeling and crusty I went to the local food store and purchased some vitamin E tablets (after researching what may help) Poking a hole with a pin and squeezing out the oil I applied it straight onto my lobes. And let me just say it worked like a charm, my ears were quick to start getting better and with the purchase of a pair of organic buffalo horn earrings they felt like new. Definitely a good combo. MAN did it ever feel nice to get natural product into my, well, natural body. I would also definitely recommend considering organics, when buying gauge jewelry. They look great and the feeling one gets from the all natural enviro friendly thing is awesome(at least for myself)

I am currently sitting at 0 gauge and loving it, I day dream of having larger ears but have decided to currently stick with the 0 so I can buy a bunch of different plugs and tunnels and hanging styles and so on... haha. They make me feel like an improved version of myself and I continuously get asked questions about them/compliments. I absolutely adore my hanging styles I got from "onetribe organics"(not sure if that's like an advertisement and if that's allowed but whatever these people rock)

To anyone who is considering stretched lobes I totally recommend it, the process is great(as long as you don't go to quickly or skip sizes)and the end product is more than I, personally, ever imagined! Just remember that spending the extra penny is sometimes a wise investment and to make sure your ears stay healthy (vitamin E oil rocks) and you'll have no trouble at all.

Hope that your process goes as smooth as possible and

Happy stretching every one!
